Smiling Critters STILL continues on...

Chapter 646

Mommy Longlegs had locked the doors to the Playcare not wanting Catnap to escape. She never wanted to be the bad guy, especially when it came to her once friends in Playcare but since nobody would really believe her if she explained what happened, was there a point in trying? "I just hope that Catnap doesn't find the other critters..." she said as she makes her way towards the Game Station. "It's unfortunate that... wait, the other critters did get out didn't they?" she had to think for a second but something in her mind overlapped her original thoughts and made them fuzzy, she shakes her head to try and get rid of the fuzziness but to no avail, she's convinced that the critters all escaped from Catnap's claws as she watches a small scene where it shows The Smiling Critters happily running away from the factory, she was unable to tell if it was real or not but she hoped it was... at least for her own sanity.

Dogday was determined to stop Catnap, he just needed some help, but it seemed that his friends weren't in the mood to leave the safety of their hiding spots. "Come on guys, if we want to stop Catnap we gotta keep trying" as Dogday said this though his friends just looked at each other with bored looks. "Dogday, I get that you want to play hero for us, and stop Catnap... that's great and all, but some of us need to heal!" Kickin' yells and winces, even with his smile they could all tell he was in a lot of pain due to his injuries, it probably didn't help that Crafty was also using his blood to paint pictures on the walls. "Well... those of us who are still kicking.. n-no pun intended-" Dogday smiles apologetically when he sees Kickin' shake his head. "Those of us who can still fight, should" as Dogday said this though Picky glares at him "Dogday no, listen, we've all seen the destruction that Catnap is capable of, and shouldn't you be worried about yourself as well?" Picky was angry that Dogday was still trying to be a leader, in most times she'd feel comforted knowing they all still had a leader to fall on, but Dogday needed to still understand his own limits, it was starting to annoy everyone the way Dogday would always want they to put their lives out there. "Guys come on, we really do need to escape this place at some point, right?" Dogday's smiling face didn't give anyone hope anymore... it was just a hollow face... none of them seemed to want to try and escape anymore, and Picky kept getting hungrier and hungrier as the days passed by. "Dogday... we need to rest, all of us... we've been through a lot already and it's likely that- DOGDAY!" before Bubba could finish his sentence Catnap had came and snatched Dogday out of hiding. "No no no NO!" Bubba almost rushed out but was held back by Picky and Crafty. "DOGDAY..!!!"
