ALMOST ENOUGH #20
Sharyn's POV
"Oh, there's no one here," I remarked, looking around as we arrived at the Treasure Mountain reception area. "Hmm, sabi nila this place usually gets crowded, so I made sure we got here early to explore and take some good pictures, kaso wala namang tao."
I peeked outside to double-check if it was really empty. The breeze was gentle, and the weather wasn't too hot, making it perfect for walking around. I was especially excited to try their kawa bath.
"Why? Gusto mo ba maraming tao?" Hunter asked.
"Not really. I was just curious," I replied. "But it's kind of a good thing there's no one here; we can take off our disguises.
"It's fine. I rented the whole place."
"Huh?" I stared at him in disbelief. "You rented this whole place?"
"Yes," sagot niya na parang wala lang.
"How much did you pay? Hindi ba ay sobrang mahal naman noon?"
"I'd rather pay expensive that risk your safety, our safety. Since we rented this, we have the whole place for ourselves until tomorrow night. Downside, we have to cook for ourselves. I'll try to cook pero kasama rin natin si Nat, magaling siya mag-luto," turo niya sa isang bodyguard.
"Wow," iyon na lang ang nasabi ko.
He pinched my cheeks and kissed my forehead. "For you, I'll do everything. You can walk around the place first. Kausapin ko lang ang may-ari ng lugar."
"Okay. I'll take a shower na lang muna siguro para maalis ko na 'tong disguise. Is that okay?"
"Of course, whatever suits you. I rented some room for us.
By around three, I finished taking a shower and getting dressed. I wore a flowy, spaghetti strap dress with a floral print, paired with a bucket hat to keep the sun off my face.
I blushed. "Stop, okay? Hindi mo na ako mabobola."
"Who says binobola kita? It's true.
"Wait, what are you doing-oh, are you sure you know what you're doing?" asar ko nang makita na balak niya na mag-ihaw.
"What, you think I've never grilled before?"
"You, grilling? I can hardly imagine that."
"Come on," he pouted. "Marunong akong mag-ihaw, pero mag-luto? I'll try."
Tumawa ako. "Sige nga. Let me see.
