Sharyn's POV

"Ya, will not eat later ha," sabi ko kay Yaya habang inaayos ang pack lunch. "Sabay na lang kami ni Hunter na kakain so baka late na rin ako makauwi."

"Ayos, ah." Nangingiti na sabi ni Yaya sa akin sabay abot ng tupperware na may lamang pineapple bits, favorite kasi ni Hunter iyon kaya isinama ko na sa grocery lists namin para kapag kakain siya rito.

I actually didn't like the taste of it, minsan kasi ang asim, pero masarap iyong pinya na laging kinakain ni Hunter kaya tumitikim ako minsan.

"Mukhang napapadalas na ang labas niyo, ah. Sana ay siya na talaga."

"I'm also praying, Yaya," sagot ko.

"Ano, sinubukan mo na ba ang sinabi ng mommy mo ha? Iyong mga test na ginawa niya kay Sir para malaman na siya talaga ay totoo?"

"Not yet, Ya," medyo natawa ako nang maalala nga ang sinabi ni mommy sa kung paano niya raw nasiguro na si daddy na.

Ang dami nga niyang ginawang test kay daddy na nalampasan naman niya but she was also right; you can never really know a person unless you actually became a couple. Syempre, nanliligaw nga si Hunter kaya posibleng nagpapagood shot siya.

"Anyway, Ya, una na ako ha. I need to go sa firm pa kasi last day ko today," paalam ko saka kinuha na ang mga gamit ko.

"Mag-ingat," sabi naman niya tapos tumakbo na ako palabas.

Naghihintay na rin si Jagger sa akin kasi sasabay ako sa kaniya. Lahat ng driver namin ay kasama ng team na magdistribute ng mga goods. I was supposed to ask Hunter to pick me up but he might be busy with his class tapos sakto ay on the way naman si Jagger.

"Hey!" bungad ko sa kaniya pagbukas ng passenger seat. "Oh, flowers for Graceli? Should I sit sa back seat na lang?"

"No, that is for you."

"Huh?" I blinked. "What do you mean for me? Jagger, I don't like you as a man, okay?"

Jagger laughed. "I know. I know... galing kay Hunter 'yan."

"Ah, okay-Hunter? How?" Nagtataka na tanong ko though I told him na sasabay nga ako kay Jagger.

I opened the backseat first to put my things, then moved to the passenger seat. Jagger picked up the bouquet and handed it to me once I was settled in. I caught a whiff of Hunter's perfume, which instantly made me smile.

"Did you meet with Hunter?"

"No."

Jagger started the car to get us out of the neighbourhood while I pulled out my phone and took a selfie holding the flowers.

"He was supposed to have them delivered to your house, but he heard from Sync that I'd be picking you up. Hunter sometimes orders from the flower shop of Sync's sister," he explained.

"Oh, okay."

I couldn't stop smiling and then noticed the card tucked in the flowers.

I know you don't like flowers, but just, okay?
I'll treat you to a nice dinner tomorrow after your class.
Wear your favorite dress. :) Have a nice day, my queen.

"Sasabihin ko na kay Hunter na mapupunit na labi mo sa sobrang pag-ngiti," komento ni Jagger dahil hindi pa ako tumitigil sa pag-selfie.

"No need. I'll send it to him," I replied.

Hindi na rin naman siya nagsalita. After taking a lot of selfies, na hindi rin ako makapili, I decided to just send them all to Hunter.
