"I feel so fucking dumb. I better get all of this purchased and then get home and then get ready for my trial tomorrow." Miranda said to herself as she went to a self checkout and then immediately started to scan her items. Miranda had felt happy that even though her mother was kind of like her father, she was still supporting but she didn't know that her mother was going to be helping her more than she would like and she knew she will have to threaten her mother if it gets out of control. Miranda then paid for her items and started to head to the bus stop again before she emptied her cart in front of the other shopping carts and then she started to had to the bus stop and looked around as she knew that she had to study her new city while she wondered if she should drop out of school. She knew that she had to focus on getting a job just to make sure she had a place to stay but she also knew that she had to keep on with her educational journey so that it would be possible for her to find a better job in the future. Miranda then quickly blinked and then she shook her head and then she looked up as he bus parked in front of her and opened it's doors while a group of people walked off of the bus. She took a deep and long breath before she stepped on the bus and sat in a seat as she looked outside and watched as the rain came down harder before she sighed quietly as she knew that she should have grabbed a umbrella to keep her clothes safe.
"Now to get home and to put my new clothes away." Miranda said to herself before she closed her eyes and started to nap silently while people were getting on the bus at the bus stop she was at. Trevor got on the bus with a couple of bags and then he smiled a bit as he carefully sat next to Miranda as she slept and he looked up and then watched as the boys started to drive away. Trevor then contemplated if he should wake her up or let her sleep but he knew that he had to help her so that she didn't have to suffer alone even though he wasn't aware that she was doing alright. Trevor made sure that he didn't move so that she wouldn't wake up but felt frozen when Miranda unintentionally moved herself to where she was laying against him while she was still peacefully sleeping. Trevor then smiled and closed his eyes eyes Miranda opened her eyes and then she immediately grabbed her bags as the bus got closer to her stop while not realizing that she was laying against Trevor. He then opened his eyes and then he stood up grabbing his bags and then he followed Miranda off of the bus and slowly walked to his house as Chris went to Miranda with a smile on his face before Miranda took a step back.
"I'm really sorry. I got some stuff to do and then I'll come over later, ok?" Miranda asked before she left without giving Chris any time to respond and then she left him in the rain as she ran home so that her clothes wouldn't get ruined and then saw a box at her door perfectly dry in the hallway. She had a small smile as she knew who it was from so she opened her door and then she stopped in her tracks when she watched as her mother decorating her empty apartment and then she walked inside and then brought in the box. Her mother then stopped and turned to her and then ran to her as Miranda stepped to the side and then she watched as her mother tripped over the box and then she fell onto the ground. Miranda then helped her mother to as she knew that even though her parents were horrible, she knew that she was not going to be the same as then since she could see how miserable they were at times and she wanted to make sure that she would not end up as miserable as them.
"I am so sorry that I left that box there. What are you doing here? How did you get into my apartment? I am the only one to have a key." Miranda said before her mother smiled as she knew what she was going to say, though Miranda could notice that she was hiding some nervousness. Miranda started to worry about what her mother's answer was going to be since she didn't want to call security on her own mother but she knew that if she was forced to then she would have to have police come and immediately remove her from her home. She wanted to have her home as her own little safe space but she knew that as long as she was in the city her mother were not ever going to let her have her own safe from her experience she unwillingly had gotten from living with her parents. Miranda then close her eyes and then she took a deep breath as she prepared for her mother's answer even though she was ready to ask her mother when she coyld leave so Muranda could have some peace and quiet. She then opened her eyes and watched as her mother slwoly and carefully turned her around and then Miranda noticed that the decorations were Miranda's style and not her mother's. She then turned around with a confused look on her face as her mother's smile became bigger since she knew what her daughter liked and what she didn't like even though Miranda believed that her mother was ignoring her. Her mother then took a step back and opened her arms as if Miranda was supposed to hug her as a thanks for her hard work but her mother then noticed a more confused expression on Miranda's face as she didn't know what was currently happening with her mother. Miranda then watched as he mother then turned and opened the box carefully since she didnt to accidentally hurt herself like she was prone to do with cardboard boxes.
"I have the woman who runs this place a very large donation to come in for a few hours so i can make this place like a comfortable home for you. Oh and I'm divorcing your father. I can't deal with his controlling nature. I'm getting my own room here so if you want, we can restart our relationship." Her mother said before Miranda hugged her as she knew that everythingwould be better since she wanted get mother to leave her father for a while and webbed though she knew that he family was being torn apart, Miranda knew that it would not be her fault.
