"Why do I hurt myself while trying to find a guy that's right for me?" Miranda asked silently before she closed her eyes, not knowing that Trevor had gotten on and sat right in front of her without him noticing that she was behind him. Miranda opened her eyes and then she watched out the window as the bus headed to a restaurant that Miranda was going to so that she could try to get an interview before she went to the store so she could get what she needed with the money that she had in her pocket. When the bus finally arrived at the stop, Miranda immediately stood up and then she joined a crowd that got off of the bus and then she waited for the bus to leave before she could quickly cross the road and then she took a step back so that the bus doors could close. After the bus drove away, Miranda looked around and saw there were a few cars coming from both sides so she knew that she had to stay patient on the sidewalk as the drive by and then she took a deep breath as her father's limo went to her and stopped directly in front of her and then her father rolled down his window. He looked at the other side of the road and seen the restaurant she was going to before he laughed hard and then threw some cash at her like she was a homeless bum and Miranda felt upset that her father and now his driver were laughing at her for her life choices.

"Young lady, didn't you think of getting lunch here. It will be and always be out of your price range. Now take the money and buy your booze, you bum." He father said, and then he immediately started laughing harder as the limo drove away quickly as tears filled Miranda's eyes. She could not believe how cruel her father was to people who were socially below him and then she bent over and then grabbed the hundreds he thrown at her and then she looked up at the restaurant and then she felt determined to get a job as soon as possible. Once the road was clear, Miranda put the money in her pocket and then she crossed the street and then she walked up to the restaurant before looking around to see if a manager or a general manager was around to come and talk to her. She then walked up to the pedestal and waited for someone to walk up to her so she could immediately ask to talk to a manager before we'll would come up to the pedestal could be able to say anything else. Miranda smiled as a man in a fancy looking suit came up to her to reach for a menu without even opening his eyes while bent over and when he stood up he immediately opened his mouth so that he could tell Miranda to follow him to a table.

"I would like to talk to your manager about any job openings that your fine establishment might have." Miranda said before the man opened his eyes and then looked at her shocked before he put the menu back, and then he turned around and started to walk away. Miranda looked around feeling it off place but she knew that she didn't need to feel comfortable since work was not supposed to be comfortable to anyone and she knew that she had to grow up to be able to afford food and rent. Miranda picked up as she noticed a woman in fancy clothes with a clipboard in her hand, and her hair in a fancy clean bun was walking to her with a serious expression on her face. Miranda knew that she had to hide her nervousness since she wanted to make a good impression on the woman so she could be able to get her new job and then the woman stopped right in front of Miranda and put her free hand on her waist. She quietly examined Miranda's looks to see if she would be good in the front of the restaurant or if she would be better in the back with the cooks, dishwashers, and janitors. Miranda kept her smile on her face even though she wanted to cry from fear and get down on her hands and knees and beg for a chance of a job but she knew that it would make her look like she is desperate and scared away the woman in front of her. She knew that she had to stay strong and put up with whatever was thrown her way so she could prove that she could do anything she needed to just save herself from becoming homeless.

"Tomorrow, you will have a trial period as a janitor. I will teach you. But if you do good, I will hire you. Have a good day, ma'am." The last said before she turned around and walked away and then Miranda turned to the door before she walked outside and then headed back to the bus stop. She then took a deep breath while she waited for the bus but then looked up after she felt something hit her head and then she sighed as she realized that the thing hit her head was just rain and she watched as the rain started to come down. She looked forward as she put her arms around her waist while she felt a little cold since she couldn't bring a coat from her parents' house. She then watched as the bus got closer and then she smiled while she knew that she was going to have a chance that would somewhat start drying off but she also knew that she now had to find a nearby bank to try to get her own bank account. Miranda closed her eyes and then she took a deep breath before she opened her eyes and watched as the bus parked in front of her and opened it's doors and then she stayed where she was as a crowd of people got off of the bus before she quickly got on and sat in the first available seat. She then closed her eyes before she took a deep breath and then she watched out of the window as the bus took off and started heading to the store that she needed to go to and then smirked ad the bus passed her father and his driver shouting while she could notice a flat tire which made her hold her mouth while she tried not to laugh.
