Brylee had been busy these past few weeks, juggling school, her college applications, and family life. The holiday season had come and gone, leaving behind a whirlwind of memories and new beginnings. As she settled back into her routine after the break, Brylee felt a renewed sense of focus and purpose.

One afternoon, she found herself sitting at her usual spot in Topanga's as her boyfriend worked behind the counter. She was working diligently on a paper, her laptop open and her brow furrowed in concentration. After a few moments, Bennett walked over, placing a tall glass of iced coffee in front of her with a playful smile. "Thought you might need a little pick-me-up, baby." He said, his eyes sparkling with warmth.

Her heart flutters at the pet name and how sweet he was. "Thanks, honey. You always know what I need." Brylee replied, looking up from her screen. She felt a rush of affection for Bennett, grateful for his support during this hectic time. Her face flushed when he smiled at her and leaned over to kiss her.

"You're welcome, my beautiful amazing and talented girlfriend." He murmured against her lips, causing her to smile against the kiss while the blush grew on her cheeks.

As Bennett stepped back, Brylee couldn't help but feel a flutter of happiness. "You really know how to brighten my day," She said, her heart racing. "I'm just trying to survive this paper and the stress of everything else."

Bennett leans on the counter, observing her with a mix of admiration and concern. "How's the application process going? Are you feeling any less stressed about it?"

"Honestly, it's a bit overwhelming," Brylee admits, rubbing her temples. "I've got so much on my plate, and I keep worrying about whether I'll get accepted anywhere. I've put a lot of pressure on myself." She took another sip of her drink, the caffeine helping to calm her nerves.

Bennett gave her a sympathetic smile, understanding how she was feeling. "You're an incredible writer, Brylee. Any school would be lucky to have you. Just keep working hard and remember that it's only one part of your life. You've got so much to offer the world, and I know you'll do great."
