In an unfortunate turn of events, Bang Chan adopts Haein in order to save her. The two grow a strong bond with each other over time. But things get complicated as Haein starts to catch feelings for her savior.

"Oh thank god you finally know now! I was starting to feel super guilty about hiding this from you," Felix said holding his chest with relief as he talked about Chan's new relationship.
Haein was currently sitting in JYPE's practice room with the kids in a circle during their break time. It was also the day she was supposed to hang out with Chan and Mia. Chan had gone to finish all his work quickly so that they could leave soon enough.
"I'm still mad at you all for hiding it from me though. I'm surprised you were able to keep your mouths shut for that long. Usually, it takes you an hour to spill a secret," Haein taunted the kids crossing her arms over her chest.
"Oh it was really hard but Chan hyung knew how to keep our mouths shut. He payed us really well for our service," Hyunjin smirked.
"When I first found out he was dating, I was squealing!" Felix giggled.
"When I first found out, I was calling the pedo police," Seungmin retorted making the others laugh.
"Jokes aside, we're really happy for him. He's always taking care of everyone else. He needed someone to take care of him too. Also, I hope now he's not gonna climb into our beds at night completely naked to cuddle," Minho grinned mischievously.
"Inah," the practice room's door suddenly opened revealing Chan. "I'm all packed up. Let's go."
Haein nodded and stood up biding farewell to the kids quickly. This was her second time meeting Mia face to face so she was still nervous. She masked her nervousness with a neutral expression ready to spend another day of watching Chan with Mia.

Their first stop was Mia's house. Chan rang the doorbell as they both stood at the doorstep of her apartment. Mia soon opened the door greeting them both with a radiant smile.
"Hi, Chan," she chirped as she pulled him in for a quick hug. Her attention went to Haein next. "Oh Haein, you look so pretty today." She hugged Haein too. "I love the skirt. It suits you so well," Mia complimented making her smile.
Haein was wearing a frilly white skirt with a blue crop top today, her hair tied in a loose side ponytail with a blue silk scrunchie.
