When he gets home, after being greeted by the whole of District four Finnick is immediately escorted to his new house in victors village.

But instead of looking around his new house he kisses his mother on the cheek, and runs across the street.

Knocking the 7 note knock on Mags' front door, he's almost instantly greeted by the smiling face he was looking for.

"Finnick!" Avery cried as she jumped on him giving him a hug.

Letting the girl go after spinning her round once, Finnick with the first genuine smile he's had since getting to the capital says,

"Well I'm back. So I believe you owe me an answer to what wish you gave me in this."

He says to the younger girl, holding up the small shell around his neck. His smile falters slightly when all she does is laugh at him.
Sobering up from her laughter she smiles at him again and says,

"you don't need an answer, you're home dummy! So the wish already came true."

At that a warmth spreads through his chest and a blush creeps up the back of his neck reaching his ears.
It was at that moment that he realizes for the first time, how beautiful his little brothers best friend is when she smiles.

He didn't realize he was staring until Avery's voice pulled him back to reality.

"Well?" She asked.

"Um well what?" Finnick said confused making the girl laugh.

"I asked if you were just going to stand there or if you are going to show me your new house neighbor?" She said sending him a wink.

"Oh right, yeah come on!" He said grabbing her hand and dragging her to were Caspian was waiting on the porch a smile on his face.

After a few weeks of finnick being home, Caspian walked across the street knocking the seven note nock of Mags and Avery's door.

He only had to wait a moment when a flurry of red hair answered the door with a smile on her face.

"Cas I didnt know you were stopping by! Mags and I are making her special seasalt sugar cookies, wanna help?"

Cas gave her a weak smile,

"Actually I wanted to talk to you about something."

"Oh? Okay.. would you like to sit?" She offered, motioning to the porch swing.

"Thanks." He mutters as they sit

"It's Finnick... I know you've lived with Mags your whole life, so I just thought you might have some insight or something on how to help him?"

What do you mean Cas, what's wrong with Fin?" She asked already having a general idea.

"He wakes up screaming like every night. He keeps saying he's fine, but he looks more tired all the time. And he's not eating as much. Which is just downright weird for my brother."

"Well as far as I know ow the night terrors are normal. Mags still has them but she's learnt to deal with them I guess. It's rare she wakes me up. I think that's more of a stress on her body tho. She didn't like scaring me as a child."

"So he's always going to be like this?" Caspian said visibly deflating.

"Well I don't know Cas, I'm sorry I can't be more help. Everyone deals with trauma differently. All you can do is be there if he needs you... one thing I do when I wake up with Mags at night is make some calming tea. You could try that? Even if he doesn't drink it he knows by seeing it there that so are you."
