I wish I knew a week ago that having Oratile and his girl here would bring put the happy girl in Ore, I would have bought them tickets to come long ago. Ore has been sad and pretending to be happy when I’m around, her laughter though hasn’t been this loud, I love watching her became so care free makes it all worth it.
“Are you okay?” Oratile touches my shoulder. We are at the game arcade watching Ore and Ayola play a dancing game.
“I am good bro, thank you so much for coming.”
“I would sell a kidney to get back my carefree girl.” Her brother comments, I take out my phone and take videos of them, I do a mini interview asking  how they feel.
“We are fabulous.” Ore.
“We are gorgeous girls.” Ayola.
“Indeed you are, okay ladies give me one more pose.” The lean on each other and lift one leg with their tongues out. They giggle and move to the next game.
“Lewatle says, Nkosi’s sister came to the shop, broke the door by pushing Lewatle on the stand and threatened to burn her store as Ore burnt their offices and leaked the information.” Oratile, he sounds very concerned.
“Tell Lewatle to open a case of assault and robbery. We moved to phase 2.”
“She already opened a case, I’m just worried about her safety.” Oratile.
“You worry too much.” I call tiger and he picks up almost immediately.
“My man.” Tiger.
“Bro, are you still tight with that girl from City news?”
“Very tight bro, was with her last night and man, oh man.” Tiger.
“Tiger, TMI. Please get her to play a security footage from my sister in law’s store on her bear app with the hashtag #handsoffLewatle #HandsoffOre# #keepthemsafe, she’s smart she can think of a caption as long as it discredits those idiots.
“You my boy and I love you, but how you want me to buy those expensive bags. You know I’m broke.” Tiger.
“She must go to the store on Monday and pick anything and I will pay.”
“Game boy, my dawg. E re ke motsware.(Let me call her.)” Tiger. I greet him, Oratile laughs, I had the phone on speaker.
“How is he this smart and silly at the same time?” Oratile.
“He is better now, in school he was a menace. I think fatherhood tamed him a bit.”
“His got a kid?” I nod.
“What is phase 2 of this? I thought exposing their father’s 2 other families and kids and Nkosi dating his sister was the end.” Oratile.
“That’s not shocking, a lot of these rich men have secret lives. The less you know the better, please ask Lewatle for her account number.”
“No bro, I’m paying for this part.” Oratile, I nod and we walk back to the noisy area. Ore has her coupons around her arm. Ayola has a handful, we go and cash them in and they collect their prizes.
“Thank you so much for a fun day.”Ore says on our way to the car.
“You are welcome nana. I love seeing you happy.” She is sending herself photos with my phone, when my phone rings via the Bluetooth.
“Lindo wabantwana.” I answer, his laughter fills the car.
“Game boy, you want me to sleep in the dog house?” he cracks up and I join him.
“How is it man?” Lindo.
“Stelle bra yaka, dinsthang? (Nothing my friend, what’s up?)
“I am hosting a gin launch, if you are free come through please .”
“I have guests though.”
“The Mrs, is always welcome.” Lindo.
“I know she is, it’s her siblings.”
“Bring them, even the dogs and cats. The more the merrier, we promoting my sister in law’s work.” Lindo, Oratile gives me a thumbs up. I confirm that we will attend. I drive to my house and the ladies freshen up. Oratile shows me that the Langa’s are trending and that video of Lewatle being pushed has gone viral. I excuse myself and go change my shirt and take jack’s for the ladies to put in the car.“Nana, if you are not done in 10 minutes, I am leaving you.” They have been getting ready for an hour and we still need to get food before we drink.“Almost done, please take out my sneakers.” Oratile laughs as I sigh.
