Rating: Cute

After a long week spent away on a mission, you finally stepped through the entrance of the Castle of Lions. The familiar hum of the castle, the scent of electronics and old stone, and the distant sound of your friends engaged in their usual banter all brought an overwhelming sense of comfort.

"Y/N!" Hunk's cheerful voice echoed down the hallway. "You're back! We were worried about you!"

You smiled, feeling your heart warm at the sight of your friends. "I'm okay, just a little tired," you said, waving at Hunk and Allura as they rushed towards you.

"We missed you!" Allura chimed in, pulling you into a quick hug.

"Missed you too! How did everything go while I was gone?" you asked, eager to catch up.

Just as Hunk began recounting tales of their recent training sessions, a whirlwind of brown hair burst through the door. Pidge skidded to a halt, her eyes wide and bright with excitement.

"Y/N!" she squealed, running toward you.

Before you could react, Pidge threw her arms around you, hugging you tightly. The unexpected force knocked the breath out of you, but the warmth of her embrace enveloped you in a way that felt so familiar and comforting.

"Pidge! It's great to see you too," you laughed, wrapping your arms around her waist and returning the embrace.

"You're back! I missed you so much!" Pidge buried her face in your shoulder, her voice muffled. "You have no idea how boring it was without you here."

You couldn't help but smile at her enthusiasm. "I missed you too. It was a tough mission, but I'm back now, safe and sound."

As you pulled back from the hug, Pidge kept her hands on your shoulders, her eyes scanning your face for any signs of fatigue or distress. "You look tired. Are you sure you're okay?"

"I'm fine, really," you reassured her, noticing the worry etched on her features. "Just a bit jet-lagged, that's all."

She frowned, then leaned in closer, resting her forehead against yours. "Promise me you won't overdo it. You've been gone for so long."

"I promise," you said softly, your heart fluttering at the closeness. "I'm home now, and I want to spend time with you."

Pidge's eyes lit up at your words. "Good! You need to tell me everything that happened on your mission. We have so much to catch up on!"

As the two of you began walking toward the common area, you couldn't shake the feeling that Pidge was particularly clingy today. You found it endearing, but also a little overwhelming, especially as she practically glued herself to your side, her arm draped around your waist.

"Seriously, Pidge, I'm okay. You don't have to worry about me," you said, teasingly nudging her.

"I can't help it! I was so worried when you were gone! You know I'd do anything to make sure you're safe," she replied, her voice earnest and filled with emotion.
