Lyanna's POV

We hurried down the corridors to the common room, our fingers intertwined, hearts racing with excitement and anticipation.

The castle seemed different now, as if our newfound connection had cast everything in a warmer, more magical light.

As soon as we reached the empty common room, Mattheo twirled me around and kissed me passionately.

The warmth of the dying embers in the fireplace paled in comparison to the heat between us.

He gently guided me towards the dormitories, his touch both urgent and reverent.

I couldn't help but giggle, the sound bubbling up from a place of pure joy.

This felt right, like pieces of a puzzle finally clicking into place.

I pushed open the door to my room, and Mattheo followed, his presence filling the space in a way that made it feel more like home than ever before.

He stood in the middle, his eyes roaming over me as if trying to memorise every detail.

The intensity of his gaze made me feel cherished, beautiful in a way I'd never experienced before.

I walked slowly towards him, savouring the moment, and pulled him into a slow, deliberate kiss.

Our lips moved together in perfect synchronicity, as if we'd been doing this dance for lifetimes.

"Wait."

He murmured against my lips, before placing a gentle kiss on my cheek.

With a wave of his wand, he lit the fire and every candle in the room, bathing us in a warm, flickering glow.

The shadows danced on the walls, creating an intimate atmosphere.

He then turned to the small antique radio on my dresser, brushing off a layer of dust before tuning it.

The opening chords of Wicked Games' by Chris Isaak filled the air, the melody wrapping around us like a cocoon.

"What are you doing?"

I asked, curiosity colouring my voice.

But as I took in the transformed room — now a romantic haven — I couldn't stop the smile spreading across my face.

Mattheo waved his wand over the door, creating a shimmering, velvety veil that sealed us from the outside world.

It was as if we'd stepped into our own private universe, where only we existed.

Turning back to me, Mattheo shoved his hands in his pockets, his eyes glistening with contentment as he took me in once more.

A small, tender smile tugged at the corners of his lips.

"Stunning."

He whispered, before slowly stalking towards me.

My heart thundered in my ears as he held out his hand and offered me a bow, every inch the gentleman.

Giddiness overtook me.

I wiped at my face, hoping the tear stains were now gone, and curtsied in response, playing along with his chivalrous gesture.

Mattheo gently pulled me flush against him.

The warmth and solidness of his body felt grounding, like an anchor in a storm.

His hand rested on my lower back with a firm yet gentle grip, and we began to sway to the music.

My head rested in the crook of his neck, inhaling his comforting masculine scent, while his cheek settled on my hairline.
