Ryan's POVI watched her on graduation day, standing tall in her cap and gown, her smile bright as she posed for pictures with her friends. She had made it. She had survived, thrived even, without me.
It was bittersweet, seeing her like that. I was proud of her, but at the same time, I knew I had no place in her life anymore. She was moving on, and it was time for me to do the same.
From my spot at the edge of the crowd, hidden in the shadows, I watched her toss her cap into the air, laughing with Ella and Caleb. My chest ached, but I knew I had made the right choice.
It was time for both of us to move forward.
