The rain poured down relentlessly outside Beomgyu’s window, tapping against the glass in a steady rhythm. He sat quietly, watching as the droplets raced down, merging into little streams. The gray sky seemed to mirror the heaviness in his heart, and he found himself lost in thought. His guitar lay beside him, a silent companion.

Without thinking too much, Beomgyu picked up the instrument and began to strum the familiar chords of "Someone You Loved."

His voice, soft and filled with emotion, melded with the sound of the rain, creating an almost melancholic harmony. The lyrics flowed naturally from him, his mind drifting into the song's meaning, connecting it to his own feelings of loneliness and longing.

Unbeknownst to Beomgyu, Yeonjun had heard the faint sound of the song from his own room. Curious, he walked toward the source, stopping at Beomgyu’s door. He stood there for a moment, listening to the younger boy’s voice as it carried through the house. A sly smirk formed on Yeonjun’s lips as a thought entered his mind: Beomgyu must be thirsty for my love & attention, huh?

He turned back and leaned against the wall, formulating a plan. If he wants love so badly, then I’ll give it to him, Yeonjun mused to himself, a dark edge to his thoughts. He was determined to use Beomgyu’s vulnerability to his advantage.

When Beomgyu’s song came to an end, silence fell once again. That’s when Yeonjun made his move. He entered the room quietly, his eyes falling on Beomgyu, who was still sitting by the window, lost in his own world.

Beomgyu didn’t notice him at first, but as soon as Yeonjun spoke, he flinched. His whole body tensed up as he quickly put the guitar aside, preparing himself for whatever Yeonjun wanted this time. His heart pounded in his chest as Yeonjun’s presence loomed over him.

Yj: You're so talented Beomgyu. Yeonjun’s voice was unexpectedly soft, a stark contrast to his usual harsh tone.

Beomgyu glanced up, confused by the sudden change. He didn’t trust it, but he was too tired to resist.
Bg: w-what do u want hyung?
he stammered, his voice barely above a whisper.

Yeonjun didn’t answer at first. Instead, he placed his hand on Beomgyu’s head, slowly running his fingers through his soft hair. Beomgyu stiffened, unsure of what was happening. Then, with deliberate care, Yeonjun gently pulled Beomgyu toward him, pressing the younger boy’s head against his chest.

Beomgyu’s breath hitched, his body frozen in place. This was the first time in a long time that Yeonjun had shown him anything resembling affection. His heart raced with a mix of fear and confusion. Was this another one of Yeonjun’s games?

But when Yeonjun kissed the top of his head, something inside Beomgyu broke. He had craved this, yearned for his brother’s love for so long. Without realizing it, his arms slowly wrapped around Yeonjun, hugging him back, albeit hesitantly.

Yeonjun’s lips curled into a smirk as he felt Beomgyu’s grip tighten around him. That’s right... you need me, he thought to himself, satisfied with how easily Beomgyu was falling into his plan.

Yj: I'll help u from now on.
Yeonjun murmured softly into Beomgyu’s hair.
Yj: With your homework everything. okay?

Beomgyu’s eyes widened, his heart pounding in his chest. He pulled back slightly to look up at Yeonjun, searching his face for any signs of deception.
Bg: why...why r u doing this?
he asked, his voice filled with uncertainty.

Yeonjun simply smiled, brushing a strand of hair away from Beomgyu’s face.
Yj: because you're my little brother
he said sweetly, though there was an underlying sharpness to his words that Beomgyu couldn’t quite place.

Beomgyu was confused, torn between his desire for Yeonjun’s love and the deep-rooted fear he had of his brother. He had longed for this—longed for Yeonjun’s kindness, his protection. But now that it was being offered, something didn’t feel right.

Even so, Beomgyu found himself nodding, a small smile creeping onto his face despite his doubts.
Bg: ok hyung.
he whispered.

Yeonjun’s eyes gleamed with satisfaction. He had Beomgyu exactly where he wanted him—vulnerable, eager for affection, and willing to do anything to maintain the fragile bond that was forming between them. This was his chance to exert even more control over his younger brother, and he wasn’t going to let it slip away.

Later that night, Beomgyu was sitting in his room, reading a book by the dim light of his bedside lamp. The rain outside had calmed to a soft drizzle, the sound soothing him as he flipped through the pages. Just as he was starting to get lost in the story, the door to his room creaked open.

Yeonjun walked in and, without a word, sat down beside Beomgyu on the bed. Beomgyu blinked, confused by his brother’s sudden presence. He glanced at Yeonjun, his brow furrowed, but Yeonjun didn’t say anything. The silence between them was unusual but oddly comfortable.

Beomgyu's confusion was soon replaced by a strange comfort when Yeonjun suddenly reached for his hand and kissed it softly. The action sent a shiver down Beomgyu’s spine, and his heart raced in his chest.

Yj: mom said u should go to sleep Yeonjun said, his voice low.
Yj: let me cuddle u.

Beomgyu’s stomach flipped with excitement at Yeonjun’s words. He hadn’t expected this, not from Yeonjun, who had always been so distant and harsh. Without thinking, Beomgyu quickly hugged Yeonjun, his face buried in his brother’s chest. The warmth of the embrace was almost overwhelming.

Yeonjun, pleased with how easily Beomgyu had fallen into his arms, smirked to himself. The plan is going well, he thought, knowing full well that Beomgyu’s longing for affection made him vulnerable.

Yeonjun laid down on the bed, pulling Beomgyu close to him. He wrapped his arms around the younger boy, holding him tightly. Beomgyu snuggled into Yeonjun’s chest, feeling safe for the first time in a long while. His thoughts swirled in confusion, but he didn’t want to think too hard about it. All he cared about was the warmth of Yeonjun’s arms around him.

Within minutes, Beomgyu drifted off to sleep, a small smile on his lips as Yeonjun’s steady breathing lulled him into a peaceful slumber. Yeonjun, satisfied with the way things were going, held him close, his eyes gleaming with a plan that was far from over.
