Abby and Samuel POV:

One month later, on 25 October

He's falling in love but he's not being totally honest, and it's slowly destroying him. Tonight, for better or worse, he's going to be. By exposing the one thorn in his side, and not the least, the misuse of the truth, this past that he is avoiding. She sees this avoidance, respects it, but what will she think when she finds out the truth? She's going to think I'm crazy, I'm going to change her world, her foundations. She could leave, shout at him to go away. All his common sense tells him not to give up, not to say it, but his heart is screaming. He wants more, much more and he has to tell her so that it can happen. She may be open, but the news is extremely upsetting.

He's been sick to his stomach since this morning, but he tells her, admits everything.

— Higher spirit, god, someone, if you exist, please, can you help Abby understand and let me speak? I want more, I want much more with her! I want her to know who I really am! I... he took a breath, feeling ridiculous for speaking in a void. I'm falling in love with her. Please, I just want her to listen to me.

He rang the bell 20 minutes later. He looked pale, more nervous than ever. She opened the door in a beautiful blue dress, her favourite colour.

— Samuel? are you all right? she immediately saw, worrying, reinforcing her guilt.

— I've got something to tell you, something very important.

She was surprised, frowning, backing away from me a little, immediately losing her smile. Her nausea increased, from hurting her.

— Okay. Sit down.

The coffee table is laden with an aperitif tray, she's prepared all this. He sat down, his stomachache increasing.

— Samuel, say it. What do you want to tell me? She said, no longer smiling at me, closed.

He took a deep breath, his plan, his speech starting. He must start, open his mouth. Abby is in front, waiting, serious. Please, don't let it all end. He prayed again, before speaking:

— There's something very important I haven't told you. It's going to sound crazy, but it's the truth. I'm a wizard, magic exists and I'm a wizard. He finally admitted it to her.

She relaxed immediately, then laughed out loud.

— You... Samuel ! Oh, that's a good one! You gave me a real fright !

— I'm serious, very serious, he is losing it and panicking. She frowned. I want you to really know me, I like you... really and... this past is my past as a wizard.

— A wizard. she said, hesitant. Witchcraft. Do you believe in herbs, potions and energies?

— No, not really. It's not a myth. I actually practice magic, I was born like this. I can... there's so much... I can cast spells and create potions that actually work.

— She spluttered in surprise, seeming to start considering it, pointy hat, potion, wand and flying broomstick?

— He smiled, she's lovely. Yes, very much so, yes.

— You... she pulled back, unintentionally hurting my feelings, she pinched herself.

— Abby, I'm not bad, I won't do anything to you. I can prove to you that I'm a wizard. I can cast a spell. I can do what you think is impossible.

He slowly took my wand from his bag, to her surprise. She stared at it with her beautiful eyes, which now looked at him with that look of surprise and fear that broke his heart. I tried to calm my breathing and my nervousness and threw an accio at the book, resting on the console. She watched it fly, turning white. I put it down and created butterflies, a pretty spell. I waited for the screams, the going away, the reproaches, the fear.
