Abby POV:
After a difficult choice at Honeydukes among all the chocolates and sweets, she finally joined Drago and Scorpius. She couldn't wait to start diving into the sweets. The shop is a bit noisy for me. As she waited at the checkout, she smiled at Scorpius in his cradle, enjoying this little wonder.
— Thank you, Scorpius. How old is he now? asked Madame Flume, pointing to the baby after serving us.
Someone bumped into her, and she didn't catch all of her aggressive sentence apart from the muggle word. I turned round angrily.
— You don't belong here, you muggle. He insulted me back.
Her blood ran cold as her fist smashed into his nose. She realized what she had done, shocked.
— Mudblood ! he swore.
A second later, Draco's wand was against his jugular, Draco black with anger, frightening.
— Get out immediately. he ordered. The man obeyed, without question.
— What's the matter with you? shouted Draco, lowering his wand.
— What's the matter with you?' she shouted back, my heart in a panic.
We went outside, and a sharp pain invaded my hand, the one that... God, it hurts!
— Your hand! Drago reacted.
— I deserve it.
He looked as if he'd woken from a nightmare, his eyes haunted. He's not himself!
— What's going on?' I worried, ignoring the pain.
— Show me your hand.
— Drago! What was that?
— I...I couldn't bear it. Show me your hand, please.
I did, staring at it, it... it's not normal.
— Ail. I winced, taking it out, before putting it back in.
Scorpius started to cry. The door opened.
— Is everything all right here? asked Madame Flume.
— Yes, everything's fine. I heard a healing spell, it hurt more for a second, then nothing. Thank you, dear. I'm... I'm sorry about that.
I need to sit down. I got the stuff we bought, put it in my bag.
— I'm sorry, I'm sorry, Draco whispered, consoling Scorpius, confused, almost in tears.
— He deserved it. replied Madame Flume. He won't set foot in here again. She observed the scene.
— We're going back,' said Drago low.
I grabbed one of the bars and put my other hand on Scorpius to secure him. We reappeared at Drago and Astoria's house. Draco, still on the edge of evil, as if he wasn't there. I moved closer, calling to him. He jumped. I went inside with him, looking after the baby.
— He almost mumbled, looking at me without seeing me. It can't be true! The insult. He wouldn't. It's not...
— Drago! I said louder, trying to snap him out of it.
— He blinked. Can you... look after Scorpius? he almost sobbed.
— He almost sobbed.
And he left. By the time I'd understood, he'd gone back to his room, shutting the door. I tried the wrist lock !
— Drago! Open up! A deafening silence. Drago, open up. she called louder. Still nothing. I continued, somewhat unsuccessfully, hearing crying on the other side.
