Abby and Samuel POV:

He came to pick her up after work. He saw her putting her things away, looking extremely elegant.

— Good evening!" he said, as he came up to her for a hug at the back. She moved closer, happy, enjoying herself, before kissing him. By merlin, he's the luckiest and the happiest. Abby is... she is happiness.

After a romantic dinner, they decided to go back to his place.

— I choose the next date. She told him, putting down her bag, beautiful as can be. She moved closer, deliciously close to him, almost nose to nose.

— Saturday all day? he melted, in a bubble of happiness and desire.

— You can even have Saturday and Sunday.

— I'll take it then! The whole weekend with you.

He gave in, crossing the distance between them, lips touching, fireworks starting.

Abby woke up, first glimpse of Samuel, his blond hair a mess on the pillow and terribly handsome. She admired just a little before making coffee, feeling right at home in his flat. She took out her headphones to play some music without waking him, dancing in anticipation of the day she had organised, a day at the beach. She heard noises in the bedroom, smiling that he was awake. She felt his arms, a gentle hug from Samuel, she loved so much that kind of hug.

— Good morning! You look radiant, I love you.

— She turned to meet his eyes. I love you too," she said, before kissing him.

It was off to the seaside for a day, he guessed, easily, the clues she gave were pretty clear.

— Is it all right if I drive?

— No problem for me.

— I know you told me how much you loved road trips with your parents and blasting music!

He remembered that! She got in, jumping up and down in the car. Samuel never ceases to surprise her and make her fall for him. She turned on the road trip music after entering the address on the GPS. She immediately started singing, as Samuel looked on in admiration. She feels wonderful with him, she can be herself and love makes her feel wonderful and happy; it's almost cliché, this bubble between them.

He's excited as a child, with his new favourite person. They're alone on a beach, and it's just the two of them for the whole day. They've all set up, their blanket island.

— I'd have suggested a swim, but it's January. I was thinking more of a cosy atmosphere with a good meal. She spoke.

— Anything you want !

— Anything I want ? she confirmed with a devastating smile. If I ask you to put your feet in the water, will you accept ?

Oh, that smile would make her do anything.

— First into the water then! she said, taking off her shoes.

She won by a small margin, but she'd started first. He held back from screaming, because of the water. Abby was hilarious, not bothered by the cold. She started throwing a little water at him, then more. Like children, they started a water fight, alone in the world.

— Move in with me or I'll move into your flat! Whichever you prefer. He asked, passionately, wrapped up in a blanket. We're already at each other's houses for most of the week. I want to wake up every morning with you!

— Yes! Let's make this official.

He smiled, jumping up and down like a madman, throwing off the blanket. He couldn't have been happier, it didn't matter where, as long as they were together. Abby crossed the distance between them, kissing him. The world stopped spinning. His heart taking all control, his world coming down to those touches, that smell of gardenia.

— I love you, he blurted out. Maybe I'm saying it too much, but...

— Don't stop.

Love, he... His thoughts were interrupted by her touch, his lips pressing against hers. This day, he doesn't want it to end. Abby is asleep, beautiful as a princess. He doesn't know what he's done to deserve her, after what he's done, what he's seen. Since he met her, he's never been happier or freer. Just being him, a job he loves and most of all Abby. His version of a romantic comedy, carefree, on the same page, the person he didn't know he was waiting for. And now, a move in together!
