Chapter- 21 : attention?¿

Raphaela's Pov

I took Tejal's family photo because I was curious . I didn't think she would notice it missing , I was going to keep it back later without her noticing.

I don't see why it is a big deal, it's just a photo. I didn't like how she talked to me just because of the photo and it just made me angry that dad took her side.
He even threatened to search my room.

This just fueled my anger and I tore her photo. But now I feel guilty for it. She shouldn't have talked to me like that, not my fault she made me angry.

If she had asked nicely and more politely then I would have given the photo back, but she didn't.

Armani's Pov (father)

Disappointment and confusion.

That's what I am feeling right now. I don't know why Ella did what she did, I don't know what her though process were.

"Why did you do that?" Xander asked Ella

"Not my fault that she was getting all up in my ass." Ella hissed

"You're the one who took her photo, wore her sunglasses without her permission, snooped around in her room, hung out with Leslie even though you knew what she did and she is the one who got up your ass?" Xander sassed

"I was going to return the photo tomorrow, then she just had to piss me off." Ella exaggerate .

"Why did you do that Ella?" I ask

"I d..." she began but I cut her off

"This is not the first time you behaved like this. You were rude to her from the start. Why are you behaving like this ? Ella , what is the problem we won't understand if you don't talk. " I say

" I don't know what you're talking about" Ella answered

"Like I said we won't know what is going on in your mind if you don't communicate. " I say while the others are looking back and forth between me and Ella like a tennis match.

Ella then tried to walk away. Tried.
I hold her hand and make her sit on the dining chair ,
"You are not going anywhere unless you talk. This will be the last time you will behave like this. " I warn

For the next few minutes there is a complete silence .
Then I hear Ella mumble something.

"I can't hear you speak louder. " I say

She then grumbled, huffed and said,
"You all are not give me attention. "

Oh.

"Why do you feel like we are not giving you attention?" I ask

"Because I feel like you're not." She said annoyed

"Give us some incidents where you felt like we are not giving you attention. " Alvize asked

She paused for a few seconds and said,
"When Tejal said she joined football club of our school, when we went to that Indian restaurant, when Tejal punched me and today. " she answered

"I don't remember never not giving you attention. Yes, Tejal did join football but she announced it when the dinner was over. Before and during the dinner all attention was on you.

And the Indian restaurant thing we were giving the food the attention.

You too know you deserved that punch after what you said.
