The Broken Observatory - Party Crashers AU

A new companion.

As we came inside, we noticed lots of Lumas floating around. Professor E. Gadd. turned around to us and started the talk.
"I'm glad you two came so fast."

"Skip that. What are we here for, and why are so many Lumas there?" - Nick said, trying to get to the point, probably still annoyed about waking him up so early.

"Right, of course." - the professor started. - "You see, I was doing my tests, when suddenly a Luma flew inside here. It tried to tell me what was happening, so I decided to get up and look through a telescope to see what was going on up there."

Nick looked at the telescope and went towards it as the professor continued.

"As I looked through it, I noticed that-"

"Holy fuck, what's going on up there?!" - Nick exclaimed.

"Seems like you noticed by yourself. Yes, I saw that it's basically blacked out with some red fog around."

I looked at the telescope and went towards it as well. - "Let me see, Nick."

Nick got up and moved back so I could see as well. I looked through the telescope.
"Damn- How long was it like that?" - I asked, surprised, but tried to stay calm.

"Well, I called you two as soon as I saw it, so about an hour now. Could've been longer, because I'm not sure how much time it took for Luma to come down here." - the professor answered.

"I see..." - I said and got up.

"Well, okay, but how are we even supposed to get up there in the first place, and once we're there, how can we go back?" - Nick asked the professor, still being a bit sceptical, but also determined. - "And, how do we help it in general?"

"Ah, I'm glad you asked. I have a person that will help you throughout this adventure." - he said confidently. - "Let me get him."

Then, the professor got up from his seat and went to the separate room.

We waited for him, and soon enough, he came back with a young man, probably a bit older than us.

He was wearing a purple hat, cape and clothes in general. He looked at us with no specific face expression before he sighed.

"So you're telling me I have to work with two princes. What do I need them for in this?" - the man in purple said, seemingly a bit annoyed.

Nick fixed his gloves and started walking towards the man.
"Oh you fucking-"

I stopped him. - "No no no, not yet, we don't know who he is, don't do stupid shit."

Nick breathed in and out.

The professor sighed and began speaking. - "Okay... So, this is Noah-"

"Sophist or Eevee, not Noah." - the man said, angrily.

"Oh, of course, sorry. Anyway, yes Eevee, you'll have to work with them. You have your powers that are important later on, same as theirs, but your and their powers when combined will be really strong."

"Fine."

"Wait a damn minute- What powers?" - Nick asked, probably as surprised as me.

"You two didn't know?" - the professor seemed shocked.

"How were we supposed to know-?" - I asked, confused.

Sophist held his face, a bit annoyed. - "Oh my fucking god, so these two morons didn't even know they have powers and I have to work with them?!"

"LISTEN, YOU FUCKING LOW-LIFE BI-"

"NICK, NO." - I took a break between sentences to breathe in and out. - "You two will probably take a while to hit it off, but for fucks sake, we have to work together, okay?"

Nick and Sophist took a breather.

"Thank you. Now, what does it mean that me and Nick have powers?" - I asked the professor E. Gadd.

"You see, since you both are sons of Queen Daisy, you got powers similar to her abilities." - he looked at me. - "For example, Brent, you can control the weather to help you. You can make yourself float with wind, stun people by blinding them with sun and so on."

I listened to that, curious and impressed by my hidden abilities.
"That sounds cool as hell."

"Yeah, it actually does." - Nick admitted. - "What are mine?"

"You, Nick, can control every kind of plants. You'll figure out yourself what it gives you." - the professor said.

"I'm cool with it."

"Also, you both have super speed from your father."

Me and Nick looked at each other, surprised.
"Dad had powers?" - I asked.

"Yes, but he rarely used it."

"Huh. And what does Sophist have?" - I asked and looked at Eevee.

Sophist sighed.
"Short-length teleportation, speed, casting spells."

"That sounds helpful." - I said, impressed.

"Okay, since we have a bit of an introduction behind us, you now have to go to the observatory. You'll see Rosalina once you're there." - the professor told us.

"Sure, how do we get there though?" - I asked.

"Some of the Lumas have an ability to create somewhat a tunnel." the professor said and demonstrated Luma turning into a "star". - "Once you're in this, you spin around and get sent into the observatory."

"That sounds weird, but I can't wait to try it."

I decided to try first since I was really curious how it would look like. I got into the star-shaped Luma and spun around.

Then, I started flying through a shining tunnel. As I was in it, I looked around at the stars. It looked truly mythical.
