The reasons why not

"Oh no I'm not doing that" Winn stood "Gemini and all the rest of your family will kill me and besides it's just suffering you shouldn't want it"

"Prem became a vampire and he is happy, he doesn't stop smiling" Fourth raised his head to see him

"He is with Boun again, of course he will smile, you smile too when you're with Gemini"

"But he doesn't suffer"

"It's giving up your life and being dead" Winn sat back "I would give anything to be human again" he sighed "grow up like a normal human and die at some point, 11 years ago when Drake Ellen and I ran away I found a new boyfriend" Winn's eyes looked bright  from tears "We were together for a year but he noticed that I'm not like a normal human, one of the times I drank blood he found out and tried to kill me, he was so scared I had to hypnotize him so he would forget about me and go back to his life"

"I'm sorry" Fourth put an encouraging hand on his shoulder and then when he saw that he calmed down he added "But I don't have that problem I have Gemini and everyone in our house is a vampire except my parents who are barely at home"

"All I'm trying to explain is that it's not happy being a vampire, I had another boyfriend after him, a vampire" Win said "we were together until a week before we came back here, he was one of the reasons for our return"

"What happened?"  Fourth lowered his hand

"He cheated on me" Win looked towards the sun "He was an older vampire and when I caught him all he had to say was 'we're vampires we can't stay with one person forever'....I know you feel like you and Gemini are forever but the eternity of the vampires is a different concept from what humans talk about, your eternity is until the grave which will eventually arrive after less than a hundred years, but with us it is really forever"

Winn looked to the side and saw that Fourth was already asleep

He sigh but chuckled and picked him up

When they got back to home Winn just put Fourth in bed and left the room
