The reason

"Hia" Dunk called to Boun who was sitting at the bar with a glass half full of alcohol

Dunk guessed it wasn't his first glass

"Nong" Boun called and raised the glass

"Boun!"  Dunk took the glass from his hand

"Man you have to get over yourself" Joong sat down next to Dunk

"Don't be a party pooper let me have some fun" Boun stood and took a new glass he signaled his employee to fill it for him

"Don't" Dunk told the employee and returned the glass to the place

"Fill it or I'll fire you" Boun threatened

"Don't worry he won't fire you he's drunk and has no idea what he's saying" Dunk reassured the employee who chose wisely and disappeared from their sight

"Ai dunk let me hang out" Boun got up to try to get a bottle

"No! You listen to me now" Dunk sat him down "I let you spend the last few months drowning yourself in pools of alcohol because I thought it was a period and after this period you would be you again but it doesn't go away and I can't let you keep behaving like this, I know Prem broke up with you and you are hurt and heartbroken, but get over yourself!"

"Why should I got over myself? What problems do I have when I'm like this?"

"This distilled spirit is expensive because it's for vampires-"

"I'm the manager of the bar that's fine" Boun interrupted him

"It doesn't matter! You sit here all day brokenhearted and drink and even if it doesn't affect our health because we're vampires it still destroys you because you stay here all day in this lair of yours which also happens to be your bar and don't communicate with anyone...When was the last time you slept with someone or went on a date with someone or even talked to someone??"

"Not since Prem left me" Boun grabbed the bottle and started drinking

"Stop it..." Dunk had tears in his eyes and Joong held his hand

"You have no right to tell me that!"  Boun got angry and yelled "You live with your husband happily you love each other and no one broke up!"

"So instead of trying to get him back you sit here and drink!"  Dunk yelled back at him

"Because I have no reason to try" Boun sat back down and started crying "he explained to me the reason he won't come back to me"

*Back to the day Prem left Boun*

"Prem" Boun hugged him from behind and gave him a kiss on the cheek

Prem sat in front of the mirror and did not respond

"What happened?"  Boun asked seeing the serious look on Prem's face through the mirror

"We should break up" Prem said

"what?"  Boun didn't understand where that came from "You're kidding right? Is this some kind of prank?"  He chuckled but stopped when he saw that the look on Prem's face was still serious "But why? You don't love me anymore?"

"It won't work between us Boun...you're a vampire and I'm human, you'll live forever and I'll die in a few years" Prem tried not to cry "the white hair in my hair reminded me that I'm getting old Boun"

"But we love each other" Boun started to cry

"I can't be selfish and let you take care of me when I'm too old to move on my own! I can't be selfish and leave you here with a broken heart after my death..."

"Prem..." Boun didn't know what to say he tried to hug Prem but Prem moved his hands

"I'm sorry Boun I'm sorry but I can't" tears started flowing from Prem's eyes

"I love you" Boun pulled him closer and kissed him and Prem didn't resist

"I love you too" Prem kissed him back

But when Boun woke up the next morning Prem was no longer there

*back to the present*

"I'll be back here tomorrow" Dunk told Boun "and if I see you drunk I won't talk to you anymore Boun because it destroys you to be like this and it destroys me to see you like this"

"Dunk" Boun was startled at the thought that Dunk wouldn't talk to him anymore and held his hand

"See you tomorrow" Dunk released his hand and left and Joong followed him leaving Boun alone with his thoughts
