"Remind me what are you doing here?"  Daou asked Offroad who followed him up the stairs to his apartment

"You need someone to take care of you" Offroad said for the fifth time

"And why can't I take care of myself?"  Daou stood by the door and turned to him

"Come on, open the door already" Offroad turned him around

Daou sighed and inserted the key
"Shiaa he weapons are on the table" he recalled

"Wait a minute here, I need to tidy up the house first, it's a mess" he turned back to Offroad

"I don't care about the mess" Offroad urged him

"I care, wait here for a few minutes" Daou entered quickly and closed the door after him

"Ok" Offroad sat down on the floor

Daou hurriedly put all the weapons into a cabinet

"Are you done yet??"  Offroad yelled at him

"It's only been 2 minutes" Daou yelled back at him

"Only 2 minutes??It feels like an hour" Offroad sounded miserable

Daou locked the cupboard and sighed

He considered leaving Offroad outside but knew Offroad would stay there until tomorrow and not go home and he knew he couldn't let him stay there all night

He opened the door

"Your house is really clean what a mess you were talking about" Offroad entered and looked around

"I cleaned it now" Daou closed the door after him

"As if you could brush the house in a few minutes" Offroad looked at Daou with a suspicious look and Daou tried to look innocent "so what is there to eat?"  He threw his bag aside and went into the kitchen

"Ramen?"  Daou breathed a sigh of relief and followed him

"I can see there is no one to cook for you" Offroad opened the cupboard full of ramen packs "I will teach you to cook"

"Do you know how to cook?"  Daou raised an eyebrow

"Yes" Offroad smiled proudly "I cook a lot with uncle Phuwin"

He went to the fridge and opened it

"But you don't have ingredients to cook" Offroad surveyed the fridge "so we'll settle for ramen this time"

Daou poured boiling water into 2 packs of ramen and served one to Offroad

"Who are they?"  Offroad looked at the pictures

"My parents" Daou looked at the picture that Offroad was looking at

"Are they alive?"  Offroad asked worriedly as he saw Daou looking at them

"Oh yes they are alive" Daou quickly looked away

Offroad was about to ask something else but Daou's phone rang and he saw it was his mother

"I'll be right back" Daou entered one of the rooms and closed the door behind him

"Hey" Daou answered

"Why aren't you here?"  his mother asked

"My shoulder is injured, I don't feel well"

"Do you want me to come take care of you after the operation?"

"No it's fine I'm fine" Daou knew his mother wouldn't be happy to know someone was sleeping with him, especially not someone unrelated to the hunters

"Ok"

"Is this Daou?"  He heard his father's voice in the background "Daou I'm sending you a picture of someone who studies with you at the university. There are rumors that he is the son of one of the big tribes leaders. I need you to check if he is a vampire, because if so, that means he is also the son of the tribes leader, and if so, then follow him. we need to kidnap him to threaten his tribe"

"Okay" Daou said

He hung up and his dad sent him the picture

He opened it and saw Offroad in the picture
