Just a small cut

Offroad opened his eyes and blinked

His hands and feet were tied with rope and there was a piece of duct tape on his mouth

He was trying to remember where he was and what happened when he heard voices from beyond the door and immediately made himself sleep

"I'm telling you he's not a vampire" Daou entered the room with Sean behind him

"We'll check it out now" Sean took the knife and moved closer to Offroad

Offroad heard the knife and kicked him before Sean touched him

"He's awake" Sean yelled before Daou could silence him

Kai and Nat appeared at the entrance to the room and held Offroad in place so he wouldn't move

"It's just a small cut" Sean removed Daou's hand away as she tried to stop him

"I'll do it" Daou said and pulled out his knife
Sean shrugged and stood up

Daou saw Offroad's startled look and looked into his eyes, he knew Offroad would probably hate him for it but he also knew if Sean did it he wouldn't be careful because he doesn't care

His hands held Offroad's hands and as he made the small incision Offroad's face contorted in pain

"It doesn't heal" Daou looked relieved

"You're not using one of your tricks are you?!"  Kai held Offroad by the shirt

Offroad shook his head in fear and Daou hurried to push Kai away from him

"Well keep him here the boss should wake up soon and he will decide what to do with him" Sean said and Kai and Nat stood up "Are you coming?"  he asked Daou who was standing looking at Offroad

"Yeah I'm coming" Daou hastened to say and left with them

"Offroad?"
Offroad felt something shaking him

He opened his eyes and saw that it was Daou

He got up in a panic and pressed against the wall

"I won't hurt you" Daou reassured him "I brought you food"

He reached out to Offroad who flinched but then grabbed him and removed the duct tape from his mouth

"Eat" he placed a tray of food in front of Offroad

"I can't eat without my hands" Offroad reminded him that his hands were still tied

Daou came closer to him and seemed to hug him to reach his hands behind his back

Offroad could smell the good smell coming off Daou's clothes and neck

"Did you like my new perfume?"  Daou took out the rope and sat down in front of him

"What do you even want from me?"  Offroad steamed and grabbed the tray of food

"It's not you it's your parents" Daou said

Offroad opened his eyes in surprise and before Daou could stop and understanding what was happening, Offroad was on top of him with an iron chopstick crushing his neck

"Offroad" Daou muttered breathlessly and tried unsuccessfully to get Offroad off of him

"What do you want from daddy and Papa?"  The look in his eyes was deadly

"Vampires" Daou mumbled

"what?"  Offroad thought he hadn't heard well and released the pressure on his neck

Daou was about to explain to him but Offroad's eyes rolled and he collapsed on Daou

Daou raised his head in surprise and saw Sean in the doorway

"anesthetic arrow" Sean said "be careful when you talk to him" he continued on
