Jiangcheng, Huancheng Expressway!

Police Chief Zhang Chao, Zhou Ziyan, Zhou Ze, Liu Rong, Zhang Zhengkai, and others were all present. Their eyes were glued to the wreckage of a car in front of them, a horrifying sight that sent chills down their spines.

And then, there was the police car, lying on its side, its body dented and mangled. It was eerily still, a stark reminder of the chaos that had just unfolded.

A collective gasp rippled through the group. Was Ning Cheng still alive?

On a highway, the speed limit was at least 120KM/hour. A mistake at such a speed meant a catastrophic crash.

If Ning Cheng died...

The thought was unbearable. To exchange the life of an excellent policeman for a drug criminal? It was simply unacceptable.

"Lift that damn car!" Director Zhang Chao's voice cracked with urgency, his face contorted with worry. "We need to see if he's alive!"

A wave of adrenaline surged through the officers as they rushed towards Ning Cheng's mangled car. Their hands trembled as they gripped the twisted metal, their faces grim with determination.

"Xiao Ning, you must not die!"

"You're going to die, Laozi will scold you when he goes to the Palace of Hell!"

Zhang Zhengkai raised the bumper with both hands, his face flushed red with exertion. Hot tears streamed down his face, blurring his vision. He felt a crushing guilt. If he had been more experienced in Huanggang Village, if he had decisively subdued the drug criminal when he opened the door, none of this would have happened. Ning Cheng wouldn't have had to risk his life to hunt down Gao Tianlong. He wouldn't have been chasing him on the highway.

"Xiao Ning, you survived Laozi, I didn't die Zhang Zhengkai, you must not die!"

"You don't have a girlfriend, a wife, or a child, how can you die?"

Zhang Zhengkai roared, his voice raw with emotion.

The faces of the policemen who were raising the police car were all moved, their eyes filled with a desperate hope.

Ning Cheng, only 24 years old! He was at the peak of his youth, full of promise and potential. He had so much life left to live, so many experiences to embrace. Yet, he had faced danger head-on, without hesitation, without fear of sacrifice.

"Ning Cheng, if you die, who will accompany me on the mission, and survive!"

The words echoed across the highway intersection, a poignant plea.

With their combined efforts, the police car was finally brought upright with a resounding bang.

"Cough, cough, I don't die so easily, Brother Zhang, stop screaming, listen~"

A weak coughing sound came from inside the police car.

Ning Cheng was alive!

A wave of relief washed over the officers, their faces breaking into joyous smiles. Zhou Ziyan, her eyes glistening with tears, covered her mouth in disbelief.

"Xiao Ning, you're not dead?" Zhang Zhengkai rushed forward, his voice choked with emotion.

He saw Ning Cheng, pale and shaken, inside the car.

"Wait, we'll save you right away!"

"My body is blocked, cut off that obstacle and I can get out by myself!"

"Okay, fire!"

The firefighters, who were already on standby, rushed to rescue Ning Cheng with their professional equipment.
