Chapter 66: The most handsome knight, defending the enemy and intercepting it within the country!

"Are you going to chase Yang Zhaoming?" Zhou Ziyan overheard Ning Cheng and Zhou Ze.

"Yes, he's escaped. We can't let him go!" Ning Cheng handed Zhou Ziyan his phone. "Yang Zhaoming manufactures sibutramine. This scourge must be stopped."

"How do we catch him?" Zhou Ziyan recalled Ning Cheng's previous car chase. "Are you going to drive again? Can I come?"

"Why would I bring you?"

"I want to experience the speed! It must be thrilling!"

Ning Cheng: "..." "Sorry, this time is different. Zhou Ze's escape route goes through the city center. A car's useless."

"Then how will you chase him?"

"I have my Kawasaki outside. You can ride along."

"The H2R?" Zhou Ziyan knew exactly what he meant. The Kawasaki H2R, a professional superbike capable of 400 km/h, was far faster than any sports car.

"Can you catch him?"

Ning Cheng, confident in his riding skills, said, "No problem."

"Then take me!"

"Why? Your presence won't help catch Yang Zhaoming."

Zhou Ziyan retorted, "I might help you."

"How?" Ning Cheng chuckled. "I don't see it."

"I can supervise you and stop you from driving dangerously. If you crash again like last time, I'll intervene!" she insisted. "I won't let an excellent officer risk their life chasing a murderer. Zhou Ze would agree."

"Fine. Get on."

Time was critical.

Boom!

The four-cylinder engine roared, and the Kawasaki H2R shot off like a bullet, slicing through the night.

Soon, they encountered heavy traffic. Dozens of cars crawled along the overpass. Ning Cheng didn't slow down. A collision seemed inevitable. The driver in front shuddered in terror.

"What the hell? A motorcycle dares to overtake?" Drivers scoffed, anticipating a crash.

But in an instant, Ning Cheng shifted his weight, the Kawasaki flicked, a perfect Type S maneuver, slipping expertly between two cars. The speed remained unrelenting, the distance from collision a mere ten centimeters.

"Wow! What incredible skill!"

"He went through that tiny gap! That bike's insane!"

Spectators gaped. Not only did he avoid a collision, but he flawlessly navigated the impossible space.

However, his speed was excessive, drawing many calls to the police.

"Traffic police, I'm reporting a black motorcycle on Chunjing Avenue. It's speeding dangerously!"

"It's going at least ninety, nearly highway speed!"

Ignoring the calls, Ning Cheng accelerated. Zhou Ziyan felt the scenery blur; the speed was terrifying. But she trusted Ning Cheng's skills, having witnessed his daring ride on National Highway 341. Her role was to ensure he didn't take reckless risks.

Downtown. The streets were even denser, but Ning Cheng's speed didn't waver. The engine's roar echoed through the streets, attracting attention.

"Unbelievable riding! How dare he go so fast here?"

"Look at that! He didn't even slow down for those cars!"

"Amazing skill! And he's got a girl with him! These young people are wild!"

Drivers and onlookers marveled, recording the scene on their phones.

Shen Xinyi, in her Maserati, watched the speeding bike. "That rider... he looks like Ning Cheng," she gasped, remembering his daring rescue from Zhao Tianfeng. "Uncle Li, follow that motorcycle!"

She filmed him as he vanished into the night.

Ning Cheng, considering Yang Zhaoming's escape route, knew he was heading for the expressway. But the Jiangcheng Expressway led to Jiangbei Airport. Could Yang Zhaoming be fleeing the country? It was possible. Zhao Luowei had done the same.

He changed course, heading for the airport. Suddenly, police sirens wailed behind them.

"Motorcycle! Stop! You're speeding dangerously!"

"Stop or we'll take action!"

"Should we stop and explain our mission?" Zhou Ziyan asked.

"No, we can't waste a second. They'll understand later," Ning Cheng replied. "Jiangbei Airport! Time's running out!"

The engine roared. The Kawasaki surged.

120... 150... 180... 200... 250... 300 km/h!

The speed was exhilarating, but also terrifyingly dangerous. Zhou Ziyan held on tight, her adrenaline surging. This was far more intense than National Highway 341.

"Ning Cheng, we're at Jiangbei Airport!" Zhou Ziyan shouted.

"I see it." Ning Cheng slowed down, stopping at the airport. He called Zhou Ze.

"Did you catch him?"

Zhou Ze sighed, "No. We were tricked. Only Yang Zhaoming's driver was in the car. He was paid to draw us away."

"He leased a plane and might be leaving the country. Ning Cheng, get to the airport and intercept him!"

"I'm already here."

Zhou Ze was stunned.

Ning Cheng spotted Yang Zhaoming getting out of a black Mercedes. He recognized him instantly.

"Why didn't you tell them to intercept the plane?" Zhou Ze asked urgently.

"No need," Ning Cheng replied, approaching Yang Zhaoming. He produced his handcuffs and arrested him without a word.

"Ning Cheng, did he escape?" Zhou Ze asked.

"No. He's in my custody."

Stunned silence followed.

"Oh my God, you're incredible!" Zhou Ze exclaimed. "If he'd gotten away, I'd have been devastated!"

"Team Zhou, I don't need praise," Ning Cheng said.

"How did you catch him so fast? You couldn't use your magic skills in that traffic," Zhou Ze wondered.

"A car's useless in that situation. I switched to a motorcycle!"

As he said this, a dozen traffic police cars, lights flashing, surrounded them. The officers emerged, ready to arrest Ning Cheng.
