When I agreed to do what she wanted I meant the work she would give or buy her some stuff. But that girl made me her personal maid and made me do all her work. Even the office work. I have to make the presentation, I have to present it in the conference room. On top of that I had to even buy her groceries which I had never done in my entire life. Oh and how can I forget about my bank balance, she emptied my half of the bank account.
Now I am sitting in my cabin resting after giving her coffee. My phone starts ringing and I already know who it is. I sigh in frustration and pick up the call. I want to bang my head on the wall. "Can you come to my cabin? I have a very very important work for you. My life depends on it. So, please come." She hung up making me wonder about her 'very important' work.
Even after all her torture I still can't forget the kiss. If she gets the slightest idea she will burn me alive. She has that aura around her which keeps pulling me towards her. It's hard to stay around her without staring at her.
I knocked on the door and entered the cabin to see her sitting on her chair with both her legs on the table and a packet of chips in her lap. She is so engrossed in her book that she didn't even notice me entering.I cleared my throat to get her attention but no use. She is still looking at the book as if something interesting is happening there.
I walked forward and banged on the table to get her attention. She flinched at the loud sound and sat straight. Her cheeks flushed immediately just by looking at me. Even after all her orders and torture she still blushes when she looks at me. "Called me?" She nodded her head keeping the chips packet aside. "Yes. I want you to order me some books". Her eyes shined at the mere mention of the books.
"I already brought you more than twenty books. Are those not enough?"
"But I read them all. Now I only have this one left. Even this is going to end soon".
I am just shocked at the fact that how can one person complete reading twenty books in just four days. "You completed reading all the books?" I asked her once more to make myself clear. "Yes". She answered as if it was a simple thing.
Oh wait. How can I forget that she has no work to do. It's me who is doing all her work.
"Which do you want to buy?" I sat on the chair and ordered all her books which were double of the last time.
"Okay. Is there anything else you want?"
"Nope".
"If you don't mind me asking, what is there in these books which you keep reading the whole day?"
She stiffed at her place looking at me with a nervous look. She fumbled to answer the question. "That's none of your business. You go and mind your business". She pointed out the whole office and pushed me out of her cabin. Now I want to know what she is reading .
My cabin is fully filled with her books which just arrived today. My brother kept looking at the books and then at me. "Since when did you start reading romance books?" He asked me with a teasing smile on his face. I have not told him about our kiss or else he will roam around spreading the news.
