Knuckles, Tails, and Sticks stood off to the side, watching the awkward but sweet moment between Sonic and Amy. The tension had finally broken, and Sonic's confession had surprised everyone, even himself. But it was Knuckles who first cracked a grin, leaning over to Tails and whispering, "You know what this moment's missing?"

Tails raised an eyebrow. "What?"

"A kiss. I mean, come on! Sonic finally admits he likes Amy, and they don't even kiss? What kind of lame ending is that?"

Sticks, chewing on her stick as usual, nodded with enthusiasm. "Yeah! This is supposed to be the big romantic moment! We gotta seal the deal." She glanced over at Shadow and Perci, who were already looking cozy. "Let's get them both to do it! Double the smooches, double the—uh—romantic conspiracy energy!"

Tails scratched his head but shrugged. "I guess it'd be nice for them. And, you know, after all the drama..."

Knuckles didn't need any more convincing. "Right. Let's get this show on the road."

The trio quickly huddled up, whispering like a group of mischievous kids planning a prank. They broke apart with eager grins, each knowing their roles.

Knuckles took charge, walking up to Sonic and Amy with a dramatic flourish. "Alright, lovebirds," he said with a smirk, "there's only one thing left to do. You've confessed, the awkward part's over, now it's time to seal the deal!"

Sonic blinked in confusion. "Uh... what do you mean, 'seal the deal'?"

Tails stepped in, nodding in agreement with Knuckles. "Yeah, Sonic. You just told Amy how you feel. Don't you think you should kiss her now?"

Sonic's face turned bright red. "Wh—what? K-Kiss Amy? Right here? Now?"

Amy, equally flustered but far more composed, crossed her arms with a small smile. "You know, Sonic, they've got a point. You kinda owe me one after making me wait all this time."

Sonic opened his mouth to protest, but then he saw the way Amy was looking at him, the teasing glint in her eyes, and—hell—he had just confessed. His heart raced, but he figured, if he was gonna do this, he might as well go all the way.

"Fine!" Sonic said, swallowing his nerves. "Let's just get this over with."

Knuckles and Tails exchanged excited glances as Sonic awkwardly leaned toward Amy, the two of them still standing close, their noses nearly touching. Amy, clearly enjoying Sonic's bashfulness, moved in, closing the gap between them. The moment their lips touched, the gang let out whoops and cheers, with Knuckles clapping them on the back and Tails grinning like a proud best friend.

But they weren't done yet.

"Hey, Shadow! Perci!" Sticks called out, her voice full of mischief. "Your turn! Let's make this a double!"

Shadow raised an eyebrow, looking at the group like they were insane. "You've got to be kidding me."

Perci, however, smiled up at him, eyes twinkling. "Oh, come on, Shady. It's not like we haven't kissed before."

Shadow huffed, clearly not wanting to give in to the peer pressure, but Perci's soft gaze and playful tone were too much for even his steely demeanor. "Fine," he muttered, rolling his eyes. "But I'm only doing this because you want it."

He leaned down, his usual cold exterior melting as he pressed his lips against Perci's, pulling her close in a tender, yet possessive embrace. This time, the cheers from the gang were even louder.

But just as the atmosphere reached its most romantic, something unexpected happened.

Out of nowhere, a bright light flashed from the sky. Everyone turned to look up, and suddenly, a small figure dropped down from the clouds—a drone. A very familiar drone.

"Oh, come on!" Sonic groaned, recognizing it immediately.

The drone landed with a loud thud, and from its speakers came Eggman's booming voice. "Surprise, hedgehogs! Did you really think I'd let this sappy, romantic nonsense go uninterrupted?! I've been watching the whole thing, and frankly, I'm disgusted. But don't worry—Uncle Eggman is here to crash your little love fest!"

Knuckles threw his hands up in disbelief. "Seriously?! Right now, Eggman?!"

Sonic clenched his fists, his frustration reaching its peak. "You've gotta be kidding me. Can't we just have one peaceful moment without you showing up to ruin everything?"

Shadow cracked his knuckles, glaring up at the drone with pure disdain. "I swear to Chaos, if this ruins Perci's night, I'm going to rip Eggman's entire lair apart."

Perci placed a calming hand on Shadow's arm. "Shady, calm down. We'll handle this quickly."

Eggman's drone hovered above them, clearly mocking. "Oh, I doubt that! I've got a little surprise for you! Say hello to my newest creation—The Love Bot! Designed specifically to—"

But before Eggman could even finish his dramatic speech, Sonic zipped up, grabbed a nearby rock, and hurled it at the drone, smashing it into pieces midair.

The drone sparked and fizzled, and Eggman's voice cut off with a distorted, "Wha—NOOOO!"

Silence followed as the wreckage of the drone crashed to the ground.

"Well," Sonic said, dusting off his hands. "That takes care of that."

Everyone stood in stunned silence for a moment before Sticks, chewing on her stick, nodded approvingly. "Good thinking, Sonic. That bot definitely had mind-control lasers or something."

As the tension finally broke, Tails, Knuckles, and Sticks exchanged triumphant grins. The night had been filled with surprises, but in the end, they got what they wanted. Two couples. Two kisses. And an Eggman interruption to keep things interesting.

"Well," Knuckles said, throwing his arm around Tails, "I'd call that a success."

Tails nodded. "Yeah. Definitely sealed the deal."

Amy smiled softly at Sonic, who was still trying to act nonchalant despite his flushed cheeks. "I guess that wasn't so bad after all, huh?"

Sonic rubbed the back of his neck awkwardly. "Yeah, well... I guess."

And as Shadow pulled Perci close, the group—despite all the chaos—felt like everything had finally fallen into place. At least, until the next disaster hit.
