Prerna's POV
Next day, I woke up feeling sore and giddy for some unknown reasons (not really unknown though)
While taking a bath, I cautiously brushed my hand over my clothed nipple and hissed when it hurt. The buds immediately pebbled, forming their shape on the kurta.
Sarthak had left to work early due to some emergency, along with Shobhit jija ji and Papa.
So, without him, I was alone in the room. Even Naina was not home today, which only added to my boredom.
After lunch, my boredom crossed all its limits and I decided to leave the room, having no idea where I was heading.
Even though I have done makeup to hide all the hickeys, I did not want to take a chance. So I covered my neck using a dupatta and left the room.
Descending the stairs, I walked through the hallway, playing with the hem of Dupatta. My steps came to a halt when I heard the sound of loud laughter coming Dadi's room.
I hesitated before knocking the door, wondering if I would disturb her. Sighing I decided to knock the door. If I feel like I am disturbing her, I will leave immediately.
I knocked and the door swayed open after a few seconds. Aashna stood in front of me, holding the door open. I looked over her shoulder to see Dipti and Swati present in the room too.
"Oh, Prerna." Dadi smiled seeing me and gestured me to come inside the room. "Come inside, beta."
I smiled and stayed glued to my place. "No, Dadi. I was just passing by and thought of—"
My words were cut mid sentence when Aashna held my arm. "Arey just come inside, Bhabhi."
She shut the door behind us and dragged me to the bed. I looked down to see UNO cards scattered all over the bed.
"Do you know how to play UNO?" Swati asked collecting the cards and shuffling them like a pro.
"No." Shaking my head, I sat with my legs crossed on the bed.
"Okay so we have cards in four colours. Few of them are power cards..." Swati started telling me about the game, without even asking if I wanted to play or not. To be honest, it made me feel involved.
Everyone in the house shows their right over me as their family and that feeling always makes my chest swell with heavy but beautiful emotions.
"Okay." I nodded and picked my cards, making sure no one sees them.
During the game, I saw Dadi discreetly picking a plus four power card from the bundle. I smiled at her childishness. Her eyes met mine and I gave her a sheepish look, but did not call out her for being unfair in the game.
She winked at me and hid the stolen card under her thigh, giggling silently.
I shook my head at her cute actions. She reminded me of Sarthak. Dadi and he practically share the same personality. They are the older and younger version of each other.
I just know he will be so much like her even when he grows old and all his hair turn grey.
He will look good with grey hair, tall height and muscled body. Not a baby boy, but a baby maker—UGH, STOP!
Why am I acting like a hormonal bitch?
I wonder when he will be back.
It's not like I missed him, I was merely wondering.
"Are you better now?" Dipti asked and I frowned before understanding her question.
"Ah, yes. Just a little soreness in the body, other than that I am fine." I told her and saw her lips twitched at the corner before I realised something.
