Prerna's POV

I was adding rice to the Kheer when Dipti entered the kitchen.

"Why are you alone, Bhabhi? Where is the staff?" She asked, and stopped beside me.

"Uh, I dismissed them."

I wasn't feeling comfortable with too many people around me. I felt so conscious as they were eyeing my every movement.

"What?" She exclaimed. "Will you be able to cook for so many people by yourself?" She concerned.

"Yes, anyway it's not that much work." I assured her, grateful for her concern. "The staff had already done chopping, kneading of dough and all that. I am just doing the cooking part."

Even the little amount of concern I received was more meaningful than anyone could ever understand.

"But still..." she sighed before jumping and sitting on the counter.

She looked at me cooking while wiggling her legs. I felt like she wanted to say something but was hesitating.

"What's wrong, Dipti?" I asked, sitrring the Kheer. "Why do you look so hesitant?"

"Bhabhi...that actually..." she drawled, fumbling with her words. "I have a suggestion." She spoke in a small voice.

She was Sarthak's sibling yet so different from him. That Gorilla did not even know what hesitation meant and here his sister was hesitating in giving a suggestion.

"What is it?" I asked, glancing at her curiously.

Dipti fidgeted with her fingers. "Bhabhi, please don't take it in a wrong way and please do not be embarrassed or anything." She licked her lips.

I nodded and took two spoonful of Kheer in a bowl to taste it.

"Last night, I heard your screams." She said and I choked.

She WHAT?

I coughed harder and began to hit my chest.

Dipti sat there with her head bent low until I regained my composure.

"Y-you...heard us?" I asked, blood rushed up to my face when she slowly nodded.

I palmed my face and squatted by the counter. My fingers dug into my skin and I did not dare to look up at her.

What could have been more embarrassing for a girl than knowing that her brother in the next room was doing sins?!

I can only imagine how she spent the night, hearing me scream and moan for her brother.

Is that why she was so acting awkward to even face me?

God, split the ground. I want to bury myself.

"Please don't be embarrassed. There is nothing to be embarrassed about. You guys are a couple, that's normal things to do. Why are you embarrassed? I should be the embarrassed one here. I am so so sorry for not sleeping on time and hearing you guys. I will never sleep late from now on, I promise. You can do whatever you want in your room. I am sorry, Bhabhi, please stand up. You are making me awkward."

She said looking as embarrassed as me. I looked up at her, still sitting on the ground. She too hesitantly met my eyes.

"I am sorry." I muttered, "We will be careful next time."

"Uh, no that's not what I meant, Bhabhi. You can scream and moan all you want." She said and then covered her mouth realising how awkward it was to say something like that to your sister-in-law.
