Olivia rushed in to the hospital and to the front nurses station "I'm olivia benson my daughter Eden Benson was brought in by ambulance. Where is she?" She asked in a panicked tone.

The nurse looked the name up on the computer "it looks like she's still being examined you'll have to wait out here until the doctor comes to inform you." She said.

Olivia wanted to argue but just went and sat for now and texted elliot and told him where she was and what Lana had said happened with Eden. "Elliot i....I need you...please come to me." She whimpered on the edge of breaking apart.

"I'm coming liv I'll be there soon" he sighed as his own heart was racing as he hung up the phone.

Olivia  sat in the waiting room scrubbing her hands together nervously  until she seen elliot walk in and she rushed to him and hugged him tight.

Elliot sighed and held her close "everything is going to be alright liv. Edens your daughter she's got your strength" he said kissing her temple near her hair line.

"Lana said she had ... a seizure that's never happened before elliot...to either of them." She said as tears fell down her cheeks in small streams.

Elliot did his best to keep Olivia calm as they waited and finally a doctor came out and said "parents of Eden Benson?"

Olivia stood "I'm Edens mother. How is she what happened?" She asked as her hands shook from fear and anxiousness.

Dr. Hanson looked at her "we should do this in private please follow me to my office" he said leading them down a hall to a nicely furnished office and olivia sat keeping a hold of elliots hand for comfort. "Ms. Benson, your daughter had a seizure at your home and another as she arrived here at the hospital so we took her for some scans and testing. I'm afraid it's nothing good." He sighed.

"What's wrong with my daughter?" She asked trying desperately to keep her emotions in check.

"Eden has a tumor in her brain called CNS tumor. The scan show that it is near the farther back side of her brain near the spinal cord which means it's not something that can be removed easily if at all. Your daughter is 4 years old and this is the youngest age I've seen a tumor in a child of this kind." He said.

Olivia shook her head "but...but you can remove it right?"

"Maybe part of it but no not the entire mass and it's a very risky procedure especially for a child as young as Eden. Our best course of treatment for now would be chemotherapy but I do have to warn you... tumors like this have only about a 50 to 60 percent survival rate and most succumb to the cancer within 5 years or less." He sighed always hateing to give parents this kind of news.

"So um....what your telling me is....I'm probably going to lose my daughter before she's even 10 years old?" She said as her tears broke again and streamed uncontrollably.

"I don't like to say for certain but the odds are leaning that way." He sighed.

Elliot couldn't believe what he was hearing and pulled olivia in to his lap holding her as he asked the doctor "should we be worried about her twin sister?"

"It is a higher probability that twins can get the same cancer but not always but we should do a scan on her to be sure." He said.

Elliot nodded "can we see Eden?"

"Yes of course I'll show you to her room in the pediatric cancer ward." He said and lead them out of the office and trough the hospital to the 6th floor room 615.

Olivia looked at her little girl sleeping through the window and covered her own mouth with her hand to silence her cries before she could go in.
