Me, Eden and Emily (a Bensler fanfic)

Elliot sat watching Emily for over 2 hours before a doctor took him to the hall to discuss olivia.

"How is she?" Elliot asked the doctor.

"She had some internal bleeding, several cracked ribs and a broken femur also her left wrist is fractured." He said as he listed off all her major injuries "she's stable for now but we did have to put her in an induced coma until some of her internal injuries heal. It's going to be a bit of a long process." He continued with a sigh.

Elliot was overwhelmed by all of the information he was receiving. "But she's going to pull through right?" He asked.

"Right now Mr. Stabler it is just a waiting game I'm afraid." He admitted.

"Is she able to atleast me transferred to a hospital  closer to home?" Elliot asked running a hand down his face.

"I'm afraid she can not be moved until she emerges from her coma. I'm sorry." The doctor said touching elliots shoulder to give him some sort of comfort.

"Ok...what about Emily when can she be released?" Elliot asked.

She can leave tomorrow morning. Luckily most of her injuries were minor but you will still want to keep a close eye on her." The doctor finished.

Elliot nodded and leaned against the wall by Emily's room and sighed as amanda and fin walked towards him.

"What's going on?" Amanda asked.

"Olivia is in an induced coma. I can't get her transferred closer to home until if or when she wakes from it....this is bad....what if...what if she doesn't..." Elliot stuttered slightly.

"Come on stabler we can't worry about the what ifs right now. Olivia's a fighter she's gonna fight to get back to you and em." Fin replied patting his shoulder.

"Or maybe she will fight to stay with Eden." He sighed "she almost gave up when Eden died and now....I don't know if she will fight to come back to us." He continued.

Amanda was saddened by the thought of not haveing her best friend around to see her baby be born or to help be an amazing aunt to her as tears welled in her eyes. "She will come back. She has too. She has too many people who care about her here and need her." Amanda admitted.

Elliot sighed and took a breath "Amanda i...I need to shower and get a proper hotel for me and Emily to go to tomorrow can you stay with em for now while I go handle everything?" He asked.

"Y..yeah I got her don't worry." Amanda said.

A month seemed to drag by and still olivia hadn't woken. After the first week he had sent Emily to stay with amanda in New York so she wouldn't miss anymore school. He called Emily every night before bed to make sure Emily knew she was never forgotten. Elliot spent his days by Olivia's bed side telling her how much he loved her and how much he and Emily missed her and needed her back.

As elliot sat that day holding and stroking Olivia's hand like he always did he started to notice her eyelids flutter and then start to open and he looked shocked and hollered for the doctor.
