RAIN'S POV
I'm seeing Fyang on the corridor, jammin' with that London Boy, singing loudly with his british accent. They seems like closed enough tho the boy just got transferred few days ago.
I intentionally went on the left side of the corridor so that Fyang can't see me and force me to join with them. No moods for newbies so far.
Anyway, I'm looking for Kai right now. She said she'll just borrow a book in the library for their upcoming comprehensive exam. Peeped out every corner of the library but nowhere to be seen. Then, Kanata saw me, Kai's classmate.
"Hey, Rain. Who are you looking for?" Kanata in a low tone voice.
"Uhm, have you seen Kai? I can't see her. She said a while ago that she'll go here."
"Jeez, you just missed meeting each other. She just left few minutes ago" Kanata added while flipping her notebook.
Kanata also shared that Kai's borrowed a book for their chemistry subject. If it's about math, maybe I'll be a great help.
But Chemistry, hell nah.
She's smart enough. 😏😅
I bid my good bye to Kanata. She just nod, waiving her hand while still flipping the pages of her notebook.
Time passes by, boredom striked me. I had no plans, I don't have anything to do since my bestfriend need to focus on her acads.
My classes are doomed, no teachers were available, so what I am gonna do? It's a pity that I didn't planned to bring my sports attire. Playing volleyball is a must. HUHUHU. 😭😭
Maybe a short walk can do.
I found myself going to the stadium. Maybe I can just sleep on one of the blocked-view benches.
Luckily, few spotlights are turned on. The rest are off.
Best time for sleep, isn't it? I wonder why there are no guards roaming around here knowing that this place is known to be the sleepy stadium in this school.
Then here we go, I found a spot. I put my bag and placed it as my pillow. I started to lie down while getting my comfortable position. Cool air are blasting in this area and it really helps me to get me sleep in seconds.
My eyes are teary while slowly blinking and closing....
"Ohhh, sh*t, I'm sorry Miss! Oh my gosh! I didn't saw you." a girl with a mid-short hair apologizing from what she have done.
She almost crushed my face...
with her butt. 😭😭😭
"I'm really sorry, I didn't know there's someone here." she nervously stated while still looking at me and my "what to be" reaction.
In all benches here in the stadium, why in my chosen place and peace?
I sighed.
"Look, i'm really sorry, I just want this corner and the lights are off. It gives me calm." she literally stated. As if she's reading my mind, still without me reacting on the current situation.
"Nah, it's okay. Maybe you should bring a flashlight next time. Uhmm, friendly advice, I'm not the only person who are doing this. So be careful next time. "
I finally responded. I might be harshed if I didn't respond to her "SORRYs".
"Yeah, I will and I am sorry again. By the way, I'm Therese, new student here." she said in her sweet voice, she extended her right hand, waiting for me to welcome it.
Who am I to be a snobber? Jeez. I just said a while ago that i don't have a mood for newbies.
Then here I am, shaking her hand in one down.
"I am Rain. Uh, i need to go, you can sit here."
"Uhhh, nice to meet you Rain.."
I didn't let her to speak again and pick up my bag and slowly walking out of the benches, while lightly looking backwards to the girl a while ago. She waived her hand towards me and smiling widely.
Hmmm, too friendly I guess.
