Chapter 6

Tonight's the birthday party we were invited to, Jiro told me to wait for him because he will be driving us to the venue.

I just wore a simple outfit for tonight, I don't want to be overdressed but I want to be presentable as well. As I apply light lipstick, I also heard a click on our door.

"Haven, you good to go?"

"Yes, where's your car?" I asked as he opened the door to let me out first.

"Nasa labas na po master," then I heard him chuckle beside me. He opened the car door on the passenger seat to let me in and thanking him after.

'Di pa man nakakaandar ang sasakyan may paandar na siya sa'kin, he handed me a bouquet of different flowers but mostly white and yellow roses.

"I'm not the celebrant, what's with the flowers?" I asked while eyeing the flowers then smelling it, parang bagong pitas lang ang mga ito, sobrang tingkad ng kulay. As I smell the familiar scent of it, I can't help but smile.

"As a gentleman that I am, it's just right to give something for my date, right?" He wink at me that made me laugh, he really is something.

"Well, thank you for the flowers Jiro Harrison. Please take good care of me." He bow his head as if bowing to a royalty.

"My pleasure, your highness. Buckle up. Let's enjoy the night." After he made sure I had my seatbelt on, he drove off to the venue.

The whole drive was smooth, we talked about random things, with side teasing and all, we also talked about our busy schedules after this day. I told him I might not be able to go home with him since I will be bringing my car to school, he seems to hate the idea but still agreed with it telling me he's still open to be my driver, which I disagree with.

"I texted EJ and Beau, Knox wasn't able to come kasi so bare with them muna. I'll just find a parking space, sa entrance ka nila hihintayin." I nodded at what he said then got out of the car and headed to the entrance.

Iniwan ko muna yung bulaklak since baka iba pa isipin ng mga tao dito, baka isipin nilang galing sa'kin yun at ibibigay ko sa celebrant.

"Haven!" 'di pa man ako nakakalapit sa entrance I already heard EJ's voice, he's with Beau who's obviously shy because of EJ's embarrassing act. People look at us dahil sa boses ni EJ.

"Nagpark si Jiro no? Mamaya pa makakabalik yun, wala na atang space kasi ang aga nagsidating ng mga bisita." We walked towards the entrance and saw a lot of familiar faces, mostly mga naging ka-orgmates ko.

"Kayo, kanina pa?" I asked that Beau just nodded on, sinamahan nila ako hanggang sa makarating kami sa isa sa part ng bahay na parang secluded sa lahat ng tao. 'Hooh! My Introverted ass is safe.'

"What do you want Haven, I'll get it for you. Drinks? Foods? Desserts? Name it, ako na kukuha for you." Beau said that made me smile at him.

"Thank you Beau, I'll wait nalang for Jiro. You guys can party over there na, I can wait here alone."

"We'll wait for Jiro to come, para may kasama ka, the party haven't started yet." I smile at what Beau said, ako naman ang nahiya sakanila, I feel like I am stopping their fun just because inihabilin ako ni Jiro sakanila.

After several minutes parang dumadami na yung tao sa place na inokupa namin kaya parang mas nailang din akong magstay doon, pansin kong wala na rin si EJ sa paningin namin. Jiro hasn't come back too kaya mas lalo akong naiilang.

"I texted Jiro sabi niya nasa pinaka-dulo yung nahanap niyang space for parking, papunta na daw siya." I nodded, medyo nabawasan ang nararamdamang kong kaba, akalako kasi kung ano nangyari sakaniya.
