TRIGGER WARNING: USE OF VIOLENT WORDS
It's already late when I finished talking to those boys. They have a lot of jokes about other things that I know they only share with me so I let them. My throat dried out from laughing and talking with them.
I thanked him, deep gratitude was in my heart.
He smiled, a smile he never showed earlier while Gio and Kiel were still on the call.
After talking to them, I talked to my classmates.
"Parhelion, umayos kayo. Who's stayed in the classroom after the dismissal?" seryosong tanong ko sa kanila. "Raise a hand or else I'll kick all of you out of this meeting and all of you will explain your side to Ma'am Lea."
"Pres., wala naman ganyan." pagmamakaawa ng isa.
I counted three seconds and the comment section got flooded and almost all of them raised a hand.
Sorry..." my classmate apologized.
"Ayah, stop it. Let them speak first before giving your reaction." saway ko sa kanya na agad niya naman na ginawa.
"Sorry, Aella. We admit it's our fault. babayadan na lang namin yung vase kung kaya pa.
Be mature enough in your age." sabi niya at bigla na lang nagleave ng meet namin.
I heaved a deep sigh and closed my eyes. Be rational, Ysabelle. After settling things in my mind, I finally spoke. "I will try to explain but I can't promise I will defend you guys. Everyone can now rest. Have a good night, Parhelions." I said and left.
I was tired but I forgot to bring a glass of water so I had to go downstairs only for me to hear my parents' voices shouting at each other.
"Você ainda tem coragem de aparecer?! Você é nojento!"(You still have guts to show up?! You're fvcking disgusting!) I heard Mama say, voice almost whispering and I could feel her sorrow.
It wasn't new for me to hear them like that. It started when I was in grade 5. I mean they already treat me like I am invisible when I was a kid but their fights became worse when I stepped in 5th grade. Before I observed that when Mama and Papa had a fight, they would immediately fix it for Kuya Liam and Ate Amelia's sake. But now, their fights are too harsh. They didn't care about them anymore. All they did was to shout at each other whenever Papa's at home.
