As the day went by, our house felt lonelier and lonelier.
"Ysabelle, anak! Glad you came!" Tita Felize greeted me the second I entered their house.
I smiled and walked to her. "Tita Felize! Good morning po!" bati ko sabay yakap.
She hugged back, her warmth and vanilla scent enveloping me. "I miss you so much, Ysabelle."
"I miss you too, Tita." sabi ko at kumalas sa yakap.
He even covered my eyes lasi surprise daw.
He removed the cover of my eyes and I was greeted at the door. I looked at him confusingly but he just smiled as he slowly opened the door.
"Surprise, Lizzy." he said with a smile plastered on his face.
It was a bedroom room designed with flowers and vines hanging on some parts of the wall. May vanity table, desk, shelf na puno ng books at walk in closet. I looked at him.
"That's yours, do what you want." sabi niya at marahan akong hinila papasok. "Ako nag-isip ng design niyan. Do you like it?" tanong niya.
Naluluha akong tumingin sa kanya. He looked shocked when he saw tears on my face. "Hala!
"Sian... Thank you.
"Always welcome..." He said and hugged me back.
In his hug, I felt safe. I feel like I have someone who will help me with everything. Pero bawal. May Iris siya, kaibigan lang ako.
I cut the hug and wiped my tears. He roamed me around the room. Everything was so beautiful.
She had a room full of toys too. I can't help but to feel so much thankful to them. They are treating me so nicely.
Nasa balcony ako ngayon kasama si Tita Felize. She said she wants to talk to me. Nagkamustahan lang kami at nagkwentuhan. To be honest, I was closer to Tita Felize more than my Mama. She was like a mother figure to me.
