It might have been at that time of the day, where Little Kaeya being the little brother he is who would loves causing his older brother some trouble. He means, it's not his fault that he was so good at hiding in their game. One would say he was an expert.
A really damn good one.

"KAEYAAA WHERE ARE YOUU-" Diluc yelled and groaned tiredly like the older sibling he is and went to the other side. "KaEYaAA-" His brother sounds so dejected and dramatic.

Kaeya barely held his own snickering as he muffled quietly trying not to revealed his hiding place just yet-

He was going to win this game, as always.
•°.

It has been maybe for about one and a half hour now and Diluc still couldn't find him and Kaeya was getting a bit bored. He leans down from the tree breach from where he is sitting and look down if someone- (Diluc) would have an instinct or the tendency to look up and saw him munching some apples.

It will be funny or horrifying, it doesn't matter.

He put a hand under the back of his head and proceed to lean his back against the tree,  munching some apples again. He sigh boredly and he was getting sleepy too.

"What would miss Adeline made for dinner?" Kaeya mumbles and who knows perhaps she would made Kaeya's favourite- he can even feel his own stomach grumbling. Perhaps he should reconsider letting Diluc wins for this round for the sake of some foods?

Nah, maybe later.

Kaeya ignore his stomach growling and closed his eyes to sleep and hope it will pass.

That is until he heard a rustling sounds coming from above him, his eyes twitches a little before he slowly opened them to look up. Only some leafs and some flowers was falling down on him, Kaeya caught a small pink flower and inspect it. Well, it was a lovely flower nothing that suspicious-
Until he looks up again to see a head and the long hair dangling upside down was looking at him with a completely blank face. Like a freaking- ghost.

"GAJH-!" He shrieked so loud and tried to back away only to falls to the ground with a loud thud. He was actually glad that it was not that tall or he would seriously have a worse injury.

"Oww...." He put a hand on his head to stop the speening and the stars. Dizzy. Everything is so dizzy.

"Why would you fall like that?" A snicker.

At this Kaeya snapped out of his dizziness and immediately look up towards the source of trouble and glares. The sunlight was so blinding that made the figure was elopes in some darkness making them so mysterious as they finally took a seat in his previous place, looking down on him.

"Well how would you like it if someone popped out of nOwHeRE and dangling upsidedown like some ghost- wont it scare you out?" Kaeya huffed and crossed his arms in annoyance.

Though at his own words he has likely comes up with a brand new idea to prank his brother now. Not that he will admitted it to the person though.

"No." Their voice sounds so sure and so amused. Kaeya frowned. "I'm not scared of ghost."

"Maybe because you are one of em." Kaeya grumbles under his breath and tried to get up from his landing.

"Well that was rude." The figure say.

"You're more ruder and scary like a-" He finally looks up and it was then the sun was covered by the dark clouds and that's when he see a glimpse of red wine hair and the very beautiful yet blank eyes looking at him.

She was a weirdo. A pretty one though.
"What? Cat got your tongue?" The girl smirk at him and Kaeya only hardened his glare.

"N-no. You're just like an ugleh fish that even ghost are scared of you!" He blubbered out without thinking. He immediately regrets it and wants to apologize when he hears a soft scoffed or the scoffed that almost sounds like a laugh.

"A fish?" She tilted. "Out of all insults? A fish?" She said amusedly, not a single annoyance.

"Y-yeah.." Kaeya feared that he will say something more insane, stupidly beyond stupidity.

"And your eyes are like a star..no it does look like one." She leaned down a bit, still sitting on the tree branch looking down at Kaeya with her curiosity eyes.

Kaeya can't help but flinched at the statement, true, he can't deny that he has a star shaped eye that's was unusual for the others. Though Diluc and his father doesn't really mind but to be pointed out again reminds him of his old hometown and he -hates it.

He just averted his gaze to the side, the girl only keep silence.

"What's your name?" Kaeya mumble out quietly and look up towards her.

A hard winds comes surrounded them, the girl's hair was fluttering and was covering her face a little bit, but Kaeya didn't fail to noticed that she was hiding back her smile too. Though it wasn't that visible, but, it's there and Kaeya can't help but feel captive.

"Rosaria." She smiles a little.

Kaeya can't help but to returned back the smile too. "Kaeya."
