Ragbros - Diluc and Kaeya

Actions Speak Louder than Words (and- Despite your cruel words, you care.)

A sneeze as innocent as it sounds couldn't possibly cause more harm than he thought. Since as he likes to claimed it's probably due to the windy season, hence the arrival of winter was just around the corner. It's supposed to be a little chilly.

So he didn't pay much mind to it, of course.

Then another sneeze turns to a fit of coughing and itchy throat and nausea and the sickening feeling of wanting to vomit-

Perhaps, maybe he did overlook the little hint.

"Haa.." Scrunched nose. "HACHOO-"

That's how the Cavalry Captain of The Knights find himself woken up to.

A fever.

...Damn it all.

Kaeya can feel how hot and cold he is the moment he woke up all sweating on his couch. It was uncomfortable as well as suffocating laying inside the cramped room of his office.

Which made him remembered back why he was sleeping here in the first place.

*Sniff. Works. Hah

He may have done his paperworks overnight and proceed to crashed out here and- in his still Captain's uniform. Which explains the uncomfortableness. Kaeya sometimes wonder if he really is as insufferable as others likes to claim, mainly because he's self-destructive and couldn't properly take good care of himself.

"Achoo-" Kaeya staggered to a stop halfway to the bathroom before he feels his stomach lurched.

Oops.

He sprinted and trudged forward the toilet bowl and well- vomiting everything he eats lasts night which is none and hence he was heaving heavily of nothing.

This suck. Utterly suck.

He rest his forehead on his palm and was actually thinking of sleeping there before he heard murmurs or soft chattering from outside of his room. A certain name "Where's Captain Kaeya?" was what made him whine in tiredness.

Ah...why is he here again?

He pushed himself up now feeling a little bit better, a little lightheaded as he standup slowly, he opted to take a bath but he doesn't really like taking a shower here and well- he just wants to go back home.

Home. Where he will sprawled on his warm bed and doze of like the dead, maybe some soothing chicken soup and herbal tea to go along with it. Adeline was specialized in that, she always made it tastes less disgusting and more aromatic. If he's lucky father might stay by his side too-

...ah, being sick made him nostalgic.

Kaeya drowsily blinks away the confusion.

If not then, his brother might stay by his side too. Like back when they're children.

"Sir Kaeya?"

"Sir, are you in there?"

Kaeya carefully set out and went back to his office, but the sudden movement made him losing his balance so he quickly grabbed the edge of his table to avoid falling. The sun was high in the sky and he wonders just how long has he holed up here.

"Yes?" He responded and wow his voice does sounds raspy. Then a cough.

"Sir Kaeya are you okay?"

No. "Fine."

"..May I come in?"

No. "Just.. just a moment Noelle dear."
