Chapter 2: I Don't Know What Happened

She doesn't know that I'm a masochist, and I kinda got a thing for pain. Not her sweeping me to the ground or smacking me, but her little pinches, poking, and little things like that. I didn't know that that sound would escape from me though. Thing is, I like her a lot, I have a major crush on her. So, I don't snitch about her bullying me. In fact, some people kinda think we're together because she's always taking me from our friends... I kind of like that people think that. *Also, I just don't care because she doesn't hurt me that much.

(*Reference to paragraph 5 where Selena thinks that is also his reason- They think so alike!! Omgg!!)

"S-Sorry!" I look away with a blush I hope she doesn't notice.
"Red again? Wow, you get embarrassed easy, Emo~" On the right track, but not exactly that... Whatever. I scoff and speak again, willing away my choked up feelings and just speaking calmly.
"Don't call me that... Nag~"
"Oh, you've done it now." Is she actually gonna hurt me? She sounds really mad... Oh, nope... She just pinched me. Uhm...
"Hey... C-Could you stop?"
"Why should I? What, gonna make a noise again?" Well...
"Yeah..."
"O-Oh..." She lets go. "Why do you do that anyway? Make a noise? Weirdo..."
I am NOT telling you.

Anyway... "I'm just s-sensitive."
"Okay then..." She looks at me suspiciously, clearly not believing my lie. Damnit, I need her to believe me. I don't wanna tell her. I mean, I could just leave it at that, I guess. "Really, I am sensitive..." I insist, and her gaze softens. God, that's cute. I'm blushing even more now...
"Okay," she starts, "I believe you for now..." Thank goodness, at least she'll believe me for a little.

"Let's go now? Class is starting soon..."
"Yeah, okay. I don't wanna be late, so you're lucky. Get used to telling me around like that and I'll smack the shit outta you, okay?"
"Alright." I get up. "Damn, my back hurts..."
"If I take you to the nurse and you make up a reason, we can both skip AP Human with a good enough excuse to satisfy Mr. Will." Oh yeah, I hate that class... But-
"I thought you didn't mind AP Human?" Why would she want to take me to the nurse? I could go by myself...
"I don't like it..."

I never knew that... "Okay, sure then. Let's go..." My back hurts... Oh no, my knee's giving out... "Sh-Shoot... Could you carry me?"
"Why would I do that?"
"So you can skip AP Human with an excuse, of course. If not, I'll fall down, and then you could either just skip or... Go to class..."
"Fine..." I blush, I didn't think she'd agree... My embarrassment is only growing as she carries me bridal-style. Not a piggy back ride or something, she decided to carry me like she's my man.

I decide to test my luck and bury my face in her neck. She holds me a bit tighter but doesn't speak. Great, I won't do more than this though. I don't wanna get dropped, my back really hurts. I cling onto her for dear life, my arms wrapping loosely around her neck. "Please don't drop me."
"I won't..."
"Okay." She makes me so nervous... She carries me to the nurse, then lays me down when we get there.
"His back hurts because he fell down a couple of stairs on the way to class... Could he get some help?" She asks with her fake tone.

"Sure," Ms. Antoinette walks up to the bed, "but first I just gotta tell you that even though y'all are probably a couple, be mindful, 'kay? You were holdin' him real close."
"What?! No, we're not together, miss... He was scared of getting dropped..." Well, that was a nice way to say it...
"Oh. My goodness, I'm so sorry..."
"It's okay-" Selena and I both say at the same time. We pause.
"It's- It's okay..." I say again while Selena stays paused for a little longer.
"Yeah..." Selena sighs out of relief.

Anyway... We stay there for a while, I was told to sleep to feel better, so I did... Not actually... She stayed with me to skip. I started to open my eyes as she started closing hers. "Fuck, it's cold..." She murmurs and I close my eyes. "He won't mind... He's asleep and a heavy sleeper..." What? What does she mean-? Oh... She's... Hugging me... Cute... I'm a warm person, I guess I understand, but...

She is still my bully... I squirm in the slightest and she murmurs something about how I better not be awake as she was hugging me, though I could barely piece that together... I turn and pull her closer to me, as if I was just asleep trying to hug the warm cuddle-pillow that just appeared on me. "A-Are you awake?" I'm not dumb... I don't fall for it. After a few seconds, she speaks again. "Okay... God, you're gonna be in for a rude awakening when you find your bully in your arms..." Quite the opposite, but if I was a normal guy, I guess I would probably would be scared and stuff...

I bury my face into her neck. "Mm..." I mutter.
"W-What the hell..? Still making noise, even in your sleep..."
She doesn't pull away from me, thank god... It really is cold, and she's warm...
I relax further as I begin to actually fall asleep. "Hmmm..." I sigh as my breath is evening.

This chapter was longer, and they will mostly all be like this. Unlike more stories, I feel the background and beginning is less important and don't write as much. Be ready for more to read (you're welcome)!!
