Chapter 17 - I can't Believe this is Happening...

I don't get it, how am I able to do this? She's just letting me kiss her neck... Is she only letting me because she's done this to me before? Should I stop? I mean, I don't want to... She isn't rejecting my kisses either, so I guess... I guess I'll just keep kissing her. I'm so nervous, though. And this is really... Intimate... "Selena?"
"Yes, Rio?"
"We're, like, friends, right?"
"Uh, yeah." I sigh a little bit, her answer is dissapointing, that's okay...
"Can we play Truth or Dare?"
"Yeah, of course." I get off her and pull back, but she grabs my hand.
"Don't get off me." I blush at her hand holding mine... She doesn't notice.
"Okay..." I stay sitting on her lap.

"Truth or Dare, Selena?"
"Uhm, truth." I should ask her something important... Or... No, yeah...
"Does it feel good when I kiss your neck?" Her breath hitches, and she takes a moment to look at me.
"Yeah... It feels good, you're gentle." I take a sigh of relief and smile softly. "Truth or Dare, Rio?"
"Dare..." She smirks, I'm nervous now.
"Kiss me." Oh, that's easy, I've kissed her neck many- "On the lips." Did you just interrupt my thoughts? And what?!
"Why would I k-kiss you?!"
"I wanna feel how it feels... Please." She's- What.?
"Wait-"

"No..." She leans in and kisses me on the mouth. I kiss back, of course, but then I guilt myself and pull back.
"S-Selena!" I say with a surprised tone.
"W-What? I- I just kissed you! It's not that serious!" What?!
"What do you mean?! You just took kissed me!" She looks at me, guilty-looking. "I mean- It wasn't bad, okay? I liked it, but-"
"You liked it? Really?" I look back up.
"Yeah." I wanna flirt a little bit... "Your lips are soft..." Her eyelids flip up, her eyes now wide.
"H-Huh?! Rio, I'm sorry, I shouldn't have stolen your kiss, it was-" I kiss her gently. She closes her eyes and kisses back, then I slowly pull away.

"It's fine, it was a dare, so it's okay."
"Okay, then... Can we snuggle again now?" I want to keep going...
"Let's play the game a bit longer... Truth or Dare?"
"Dare..." Is she nervous? I'll go easy.
"Do you remember when we got piercings to match each other? Can I see them?" She hesitates but then nods.
"Yeah..." Selena didn't need to be adorned because she's already so breathtaking. Her perfect doe eyes, her blond hair, blue eyes, pink lips, and milky skin. Her curtain bangs framing her face are already enough to make me gasp. With her piercings on her ears, two each at the bottom and helix piercing, she's as cute as ever... Her bangs are covering them, I wanna see.

I put her hair behind both her ears and look in awe, leaning in to look at them. Hearts on every piercing except her only helix... A star. It suits her well... Wow... Pretty... I reach out to touch it, her ear is soft. So is the hair I touch in the process. "Rio? You've looked at my piercings for a little while now..." I pull back and murmur a quick apology. "Rio, Truth or Dare?"
"Dare..." She looks up at me and contemplates for a moment.
"Let me go through your phone."
"U-Uh-" She snatches it and enters the passcode- I told her that last year... Oh shoot, my contact name for her is-
"Selena with a heart emoji?"
"W-Well- Uhm- Uh..." She pauses as she looks at my only other pinned conversation.

"Who is Renn, why does she have a grey heart, exclamation point, and a star-eyes emoji?" Renn? Why is she asking about her? Does it matter?
"Because she's my bestfriend and I love herrr." Her eyes snap back at me. What did I say? "Uhm, Selena? You okay?"
"Love her how?" She emphasizes.
"As friends... Why are you asking me?"
"Because I only have one emoji..." Is- Is she jealous? Now how does that work?
"I mean, I always talk to her. You should meet her, I think you and her would get al-"
"No." Her tone is so cold... And angry.
"Why not?" I'm so confused...
"She gives me bad vibes. Just vibes." Vibes? Like what? And bad how?
"I swear, she's really nice and pretty-"
"You think she's pretty?"

Is she actually jealous right now? Is she joking? "I thought you said I was pretty... I don't look like her, do I?" Well, even though I think Selena is prettier because of my crush and therefore obsession with her, Renn's pretty too! She just isn't attractive to me. Huge difference, right? How does she not know the difference between thinking someone is pretty or attractive? Maybe I just need to call her attractive... That way, she gets it...
"Selena, I think you're gorgeous and pretty and cute, I think Renn is pretty too, but-" She's cutting me off. I need to explain to her, but she's not letting me!
"But what?" I'll say it quickly, then.
"But you're- P-Prettier... At least in my opinion."

She sighs, out of relief? Nah... Couldn't be out of relief... Right?
"Oh, okay..." She turns off my phone. "Speaking of friends, you should meet my friends Harriette and Finn."
"Maybe we can plan a hangout for next week?" She nods.
"That sounds fun... I get to meet Renn, you get to meet Finn and Harriette!"
"Sounds good... Now, back to the task at hand, Truth or Dare, Selena?" Selena pauses for a moment before replying.
"Truth..." I thought she hates Truth?
"Are you keeping any secret from me?"
"..." She's taking a bit to answer, should I just ask another question? "Yeah, nothing serious, though..." Hm. Okay... Wait... Finn? Finn's a boy name... Didn't she talk to me about her crush named Finn? Finn Rylin... Oh no.
"Shit." Wait.
