"You're painting again!"

"I believe it was time to get off my ass and away from the Danger Room for a bit."

"Good, because it's time to start wedding planning." Jean grinned and dropped a ton of magazines on the table next to me. "I was thinking Spring... I love Spring weddings."

"No, it has to be winter!" Ororo called out.

"Nope, definitely fall." Rogue added.

"And because I hate all of you, I'm saying summer." I smirked, not looking away from my canvas. "Roll a dice on it, I genuinely don't care. As long as I'm married eventually."

"Girl, you're the bride! You have to make a decision!"

"Fine. Last few weeks of Spring. It's not too hot out yet and Kurt's allergies won't kill all of us during the ceremony."

"Date?"

"All depends on if we're here or halfway across the world destroying a Sentinel."

"We better hope not. Those things are genuinely starting to annoy me." Jean rolled her eyes. "Okay, flowers... What are we-"

"Summers, the foundation's all wrong!" Dad yelled from the hallway and we all turned to see him arguing with Scott. "And if you want two floors, you have to change the layout completely or else it'll topple over!"

"Logan, I already changed this twice! I have a deadline!" Scott protested. "And this was the architect, not me!"

"Does anyone else have the feeling that those two are gonna end up killing each other when they start arguing about the kitchen tiles?" Ororo sighed and I rolled my eyes.

"I want a brick kitchen with rustic interiors, Summers!" I yelled and they both turned and widened their eyes before running in the other direction. "And don't forget about the sketch of the art room that I gave you!"

"Yes, ma'am!"

"Okay..." Jean chuckled and grabbed a magazine. "Colors, what do you-"

"Reds because it's the only color Scott can see... And I want orchids and tulips for flowers. I also want a simple dress, not too princessy but maybe a long veil and-"

"Exactly how long have you been planning this?"

"Eight years old while I still thought that fairytales were real."

"Food?"

"Whatever the Southerners want to cook, but I'd kill for Remy's gumbo. Kurt and I almost got into a fist fight the other day with the seniors because of it."

"I'll try to convince him." Rogue assured and I nodded.

"I genuinely want something simple. There's no need for an extreme wedding. Something that's just us and I can call it a night early."
