"Wait a second... Cyclops was fun!?"
"Why is it so hard to believe, Jubilee? He was the one always getting me and Kurt into trouble!" I defended and Jubilee's eyes kept widening. "Jean, Storm, back me up here!"
"Ah, yes. He kidnapped half of us and took us to a mall on his first day here... A few weeks later, he stole one of the cars and took us to Staten Island and we were missing for three days." Jean snickered, not tearing her gaze from the screens. "Beast used to go insane searching for us before the Professor found out."
"And you were close with Magneto!?" Jubilee exclaimed and I nodded.
"Close enough to almost call him my dad once... Though, he did kill me years later."
"He tried to kill you!?"
"Did kill me. Jeanie here had to bring me back."
"Who died?" Scott asked and I raised my hand. "You didn't die, Lyla. You still had a heartbeat."
"Uhh... She didn't." Jean said and he raised an eyebrow. "The Professor was using their last moments of brain activity to make it less painful for her. I used the Phoenix to bring her back... Hence why she has an essence of it."
"I thought you used it to heal her."
"Same difference."
"I... I think I need to sit down." He mumbled and rubbed his temples. "So, Magneto killed you, all of you knew except me and that's why you have part of the Phoenix in you?"
"And keep in mind we weren't even dating for more than three days when it happened." I smirked and Jubilee gaped. "And I found out after it happened. I just thought you knew."
"And no one thought to tell me!?"
"We tried." Ororo butted. "But you were too focused on Lyla who was in a coma to listen to Jean who tried explaining everything to you."
"I strictly remember saying 'Hey, I used the Phoenix to save her and I don't know what I did' and you just waving me off telling me to get the Professor because she moved her hand." Jean defended and I snickered.
"I didn't think you resurrected her!"
"Same difference."
"I just took an extended nap." I interrupted and they all turned to me. "I was!"
"You were dead!" Scott, Ororo and Jean said in unison and I rolled my eyes.
"So, you're like half zombie now?" Jubilee asked and Scott turned to her, his visor glowing slightly. "Not helping?"
