"𝐈𝐟 you're buying, I'm drinking." Emily states as her, Derek, JJ and Callie enter the bar to see Rossi drinking.

"Me too." Callie says with a smile.

"I don't think any of us could afford this place otherwise." Derek comments.

"Yeah, I know I can't." JJ states looking around.

"Go home." Rossi says dismissively.

"We thought you might need some help." Emily says.

"You're wrong." Rossi says not looking at anyone.

"You're stubborn." Callie quips.

"Come on now, Rossi. Bounce some theories off us. Fresh eyes can't hurt." Derek says.

"This isn't even a BAU case." Dave states.

"Maybe not yet. But I can make anything a BAU case if I want to. It's about it appear work and I know the paperwork." JJ comments and Rossi finally turns around and faces the four agents behind him.

"Why do you care?" He asks.

"Because you do." Emily states simply.

"Like it or not we're a family and as cheesy as it sounds of it affects one of us it affects us all." Callie says with a smile.

"𝐈 was here on a serial rapist in '88. It was pretty short work. The guy wasn't going to win any IQ contests. The day after we collared him, the local detective was driving me to the airport and hears a call on his walk-in of kids screaming in a house not far from where we were." Rossi explains and the others listen intently.

"He asks if I mind taking the job in with him. We were first on the scene. Inside we found.." he trails off and Derek speaks up.

"Found this." He says putting a folder in-front of Rossi with files and pictures of the case.

"The ax had been left behind, but it had been wiped clean. Turns out it belonged to the family. The oldest daughter, Connie, told me her father bought it on Christmas Eve a few months earlier. To cut down a Christmas tree. Now I always associate the whole thing with Christmas. Never been able to put a tree up myself again." Rossi says sighing in the end before taking a sip of his drink.

"So he never hurt the kids at all?" JJ asks.

"Not physically." Rossi replies.

"But he would have known that the kids were in the house?" Derek asks.

"He only hurt the parents and then left." Rossi replies.

"Okay, so using a weapon he found at the scene and not eliminating all of the potential witnesses, that makes him disorganised." Emily states.
