the atmosphere crackled with tension as riwoo stood facing woonhak, who was practically radiating anger. woonhak's voice rang out, sharp and demanding, the frustration seeping into every word.

"why won't you just talk to me?" he pressed, his desperation morphing into a harsh tone.

"this isn't that hard, riwoo!"

as woonhak continued, the weight of his words pressed down on riwoo like a heavy stone. with every syllable, riwoo felt the urge to shrink away, to escape the spotlight that shone so brightly on his insecurities.

"it's not that simple!" he shouted back, his heart racing as the panic within him surged. "you don't understand!"

"then fucking explain it to me!" woonhak's voice rose, raw with frustration.

"i'm trying to help you, but you keep shutting me out!"

"just stop!" riwoo cried, a wave of distress crashing over him. "you don't know anything about me!"

in that moment, the floodgates opened. tears streamed down riwoo's cheeks, and the sobs that escaped him felt like they were tearing him apart from the inside. he doubled over, overwhelmed by a torrent of emotions he couldn't control, a cyclone of fear and despair swirling within him.

he felt utterly exposed and vulnerable, just like he did back when his ex-boyfriend would tear him down with cruel words.

"you're worthless, riwoo," his ex would sneer, memories clawing at his mind like a predator on the hunt. "no one will ever want you. just look at yourself."

the laughter that had echoed in their shared spaces rang in his ears, mocking him, ridiculing his every flaw.

"why don't you focus on something you're actually good at?" his ex would taunt, shaking his head in disappointment. riwoo could still feel the humiliation of standing in front of a mirror, trying to convince himself that he was enough, only to be met with derision and scorn.

now, with woonhak's anger mirrored in his voice, those memories collided with the present, suffocating him.

he stepped back, trembling, his heart racing with fear as he struggled to breathe.

"i can't do this," he whispered, feeling the walls closing in on him.
