-Haroon Pov ᯓ★
[After a few days]
We came back Karachi a week ago and I had a flight so I got busy in my work...As I drove home after a long flight, the exhaustion weighed heavily on me. Being a pilot meant constant travel, but it was my passion, and I wouldn't trade it for anything. Just as I settled into the rhythm of the road, my phone buzzed with Maham's name lighting up the screen.
I rolled my eyes before answering, fully expecting her usual request. "Hello?"
"Suno," she said casually. "Wapis aa rahe ho toh kuch cheezein lete aana." And before I could respond, she hung up, leaving me muttering to myself. Am I her personal errand boy now?
Finally arriving home, it was almost midnight. I tossed her items onto the bed with a sigh, my frustration spilling over.
"Wth, tameez nahi hai kya?" she shot back, her arms crossed as she glared at me.
I raised an eyebrow, irritation bubbling just beneath the surface. "Main tumhara naukar nahi hoon. Agli dafa tameez se bolna agar kuch chahiye hoga." The playful challenge hung in the air, but she only rolled her eyes, a smirk creeping onto her face.
I headed to take a shower, letting the warm water wash away the fatigue of the day. Once I finished, I wrapped a towel around my waist and stepped out, feeling refreshed but ready for whatever Maham would throw at me next. I could almost sense her waiting for a chance to retort, and I smiled at the thought.
As I stepped into the room, the towel wrapped snugly around my waist, I caught Maham glancing at me, her cheeks turning a soft shade of pink. I couldn't resist teasing her a bit, especially knowing how much she disliked it.
"Hey, you're lucky I don't mind being your naukaar sometimes," I said with a smirk, leaning casually against the doorframe. "I could have brought you something really embarrassing instead of the usual."
Her eyes narrowed, and she shot me a glare. "Shut up, Haroon. I don't need your sarcasm or your—whatever it is you think you're doing."
I took a step closer, enjoying how flustered she was becoming. "Oh come on, you can't tell me you don't secretly enjoy this. You're just blushing because you missed me."
She turned her head away, trying to hide her smile, which only made me laugh. "Look at you, trying to act all tough while you're blushing like a tomato. It's adorable."
"Stop it!" she exclaimed, throwing a pillow at me, but I dodged it effortlessly, grinning as I continued to bait her.
"Admit it, Maham. You'd be lost without my charm and good looks." I winked, knowing it would push her buttons even further.while wearing a shirt obviously I know this was embarrassing for her and me too...
"More like I'd be better off," she shot back, but the playful glint in her eyes betrayed her true feelings. I could tell that despite her annoyance, she secretly enjoyed our banter as much as I did.
