Chp 21. My Royalty

"Hi, pretty girl," I said as I picked up a baby that ran up to me and hugged my legs, I had no clue whose baby this was but she held onto me like she knew me. I was getting ready for another show but I had come through the front entrance to say hi to some fans, I looked at Jared who was behind me but he looked just like I did: lost. "Can you talk?" I guess she was scared because of all the screaming the fans were doing because she was covering her ears. I put my hand on her hand that was over her ear and pressed her other against my chest. "Can you get them quiet?" I asked Jared who nodded.

"YO, SHUT THE HELL UP!" They all quieted down and I stared at him, feeling the girl flinch on my chest. "You told me to shut them up and I did." He shrugged and I rolled my eyes but it did get them quiet.

"Uh... anybody know who baby this is?" I asked and they all remained silent some of them turning to look at each other and asking and I bit my lip.

Where da hell was this baby's mama?

I rubbed the little girl's back and she lifted her head and looked at me I saw her baby blue eyes, and she looked behind me. "Mama!" I turned around and saw a woman looking frantic.

"Paisley?! Baby where are you?!" The fans started to point me out and the woman rushed over to me, taking the baby from me, holding her tight. "Oh my goodness, you can never scare me like that again! Ever!" She had a few tears rolling down her cheeks and I smiled looking at the reaction. "Thank you so much!" She said to me and I just smiled.

When she left still clutching the child close all the fans became loud again some of them looking like they were crying, I was confused but was pushed inside the building by my team so we could get sound checks done, this arena was big as hell it was the biggest arena I was performing in for this tour but the outside arenas could have more people, I went out to get dressed in my outfit then stood on the side of the stage.

A crew member came and put the mic and gave me an earpiece and I was mumbling along to the songs I knew I would be singing today, they let some people in while they were doing sound check and I sat at the end of the stage and waved to them.

"What's up?" I said while swinging my feet and adjusting the earpiece in my ear, and they started asking me questions. "I'm 25. How old are you?"

"You ain't 25!" One of them yelled and I chuckled, bringing the mic up to my lips.

"Shhh, she ain't know that," I mumbled and they laughed. "I am 27 though I'm gettin old." Through the earpiece, I was told that the show was gonna start soon and Kehlani came out, she was gonna be the first performance.

"Marry me!" One of them shouted and I laughed and pushed myself to stand up.

"I wish, darling but my girlfriend would kill me." I joked though it wasn't really a joke, I didn't know if Lizzie and I were even together anymore but until I knew for sure I would just do what I had been doing: nothing.

They all started asking me who it was but I just chuckled and shrugged. "Be happy I blessed you with my presence for a bit, and now I leave you with.." I looked Kehlani up and down, and they stared at me. "Them."

"Oh, you motherfucker!" They shouted while chasing me off the stage and I shrieked running backstage, being able to hear the laughs from the crowd as I ran. "Ima get you, Jordan!" I grunted and they threw their shoe at me and I ducked and it flew past me.

"HA! You missed!" But they threw the other one and I groaned. "Oh fuck you," I grumbled while picking up their shoes their eyes widened and they ran back towards the stage, and I followed after them, I tossed the shoes at them and looked out into the crowd that was now filled and chuckled, and they all laughed as Kehlani yelled. "Hiya!" They slapped me and I glared at them. "She is abusive," I told the crowd.
