Chapter 25

Saphira's POV

Sanji and I were tracking through the jungle. I was smacking plants, branches and annoying bugs as I walked behind Sanji. "Nami!" Sanji cupped his hand around his mouth as he shouted loud enough for the whole jungle to hear him. "Vivi!" My brow twitched in annoyance. His shouting didn't really hurt my ears, but it was unpleasant to listen to. "Maybe we should just head back to the ship. What if they returned to the ship already?" Sanji didn't look convinced, "I don't think so... It's important we try to find them first before Boraque Works does."

I sigh as he continued with his shouting. I paused in my walk when I heared a small clinking sound. I looked down at my arm to see a bug bigger than my hand, trying to bite my arm. I huff in annoyance as I smacked the bug. I cringe when it splattered it's green and gooey guts all over my forearm. "That's bloody disgusting..." I grumbled under my breath as I try to not loose sight of Sanji while also trying to clean my sleeve. I jumped slightly when Sanji dashed out of the bushes suddenly. "Nami! Vivi! And you other bums!" By his shout, I can only guess he finally found the crew.

I push leaves and branches out of my way as I step into the clearing where everyone else was. Only, I paused in surprised when I saw the two giants. "Holy shit..." By the looks of everyones chilled and happy faces, I can only guess that the giants were friendly. I walked in a daze as I stared at the giants in awe. "Hey, Saphira! Guess who we found?" I looked to Nami with a slight frown. "Who-" Before I could ask, a big furry beast tackled me to the ground. I grunted from the impact as we hit the ground.

"It's you! I can't believe it, it's actually you!" A voice said above me. I couldn't pinpoint where it was coming from as I struggle to keep this beast that's pinning me down from continuing to lick my face. "What the hell! Someone help!" I grunt in confusion and annoyance as I could hear the laughters from the crew. "What's that tiger doing to Saphira dear?!" Usopp blocked Sanji from reaching for the tiger on top of me. "Hold on! Come here, let me explain..." Usopp took Sanji further away to whisper to him.

I was confused on why everyone was laughing at me while my face is being attacked by this tiger. "Stop it already! Yuck! Your slober is getting into my mouth!" I was getting angry as the tiger licked my face wet with it's spit. I was about to deliver a bunch to the tiger's face when it suddenly stopped. It lift it's head and stared at me strangely. I took this chance to wipe my face from it's slober. I frown up at the tiger as it blinked at me. I have to admit, it was a pretty tiger. But, why the hell was it-...

My eyes widen when I saw tears drip from the tiger's eyes. Actual tears. I frown in confusion as it sniffled. "I missed you so much..." I glanced around when I heard that voice again. It somehow sounded familiar. "I thought you were dead..." I wip my head back as I realized it was the tiger talking. "What?" My eyes widen is shock. I shouldn't be surprised, this world has all kinds of weird and crazy things. "I thought you were dead!" It started wailing, and I could only cringe at the tears that dripped onto my face.

'Wait...what did it say? It thought I was dead?' Who is this tiger anyway? As it kept wailing, to my dismay, a thought popped into my head. I narrowed my eyes at the tiger, studying it. My heart unexpectedly started racing, my breath came short as I came to a conclusion. "Winifred?" My breath came out shaky now that I realized why the tiger's voice sounded so familiar. The tiger tried to wipe it's tears with it's paws. "Yeah... It's me..." Her conformation made tears sting my eyes. "But, you're a tiger? How the hell..."

The tiger sniffles before looking down at herself. "Oh, yeah... That's why you didn't recognize me right away." I watch in amazement as in a puff of clouds the tiger transformed. I gasp when in it's place stood my sister. She was still sobbing, hiccups and sniffling as she tried and failed to wipe her tears away. I sat up until I was sitting on my knees, shakily grabbing her shoulders as I scan her from head to toe. "My soul... it really is you." She nod her head furiously as she jumped into my arms, wrapping her arms around my neck and suffocating me in a crushing hug.
