Mu Miao really liked the bracelet, but then he realized that he should be repaying Yu Chen, not receiving things from him.

"No, I already owe you a lot. I can't take your things," Mu Miao insisted, trying to unfasten the bracelet. However, after searching for a long time, he couldn't find the clasp, so he had to extend his hand for Yu Chen to help.

Yu Chen simply pressed down on his hand and said lightly, "Keep it, or I won’t give you any clothes to wear."

Reluctantly, Mu Miao nodded, waiting obediently for Yu Chen to go back into the house to get him some clothes. When the clothes returned, he immediately tucked them into his arms and prepared to go back into the water to change.

"Change here," Yu Chen decisively stated. When he met Mu Miao's confused gaze, he cleared his throat and added, "If you go into the water, the clothes will get wet. I don't have any spare clothes for you."

Mu Miao had seen a full wardrobe of clothes last night, so he didn’t understand why Yu Chen said he had no clothes. But since Yu Chen said so, he probably didn’t want to lend him any more.

Mu Miao acquiesced, his wet eyes looking up at Yu Chen. "Okay, but you can't look at me. I'll be shy, and if I'm shy, I'll fumble and won't be able to put on the clothes properly."

Yu Chen turned his head away. "I won't look at you."

Just then, a soft "Ooo" escaped from the little owl hiding on the wall, thinking no one was paying attention. The next moment, a teacup came flying through the air, hitting it squarely on its bald head.

"Ooo~"

It let out a mournful cry as it tumbled down.

Mu Miao looked around with the clothes in his hands. "I think I heard Ooo's voice."

Yu Chen replied, "Just an illusion."

Relieved, Mu Miao transformed his fish tail into legs, revealing his long, slender legs to the air. He looked at Yu Chen multiple times to confirm that he wasn’t secretly watching before he began putting on the clothes.

But this innocent little fish had no idea that Yu Chen could see him from miles away when he came to catch fish, so how could he not see him in his current state?

By the time he finished dressing, Yu Chen's ears and neck were already flushed.

Yet he maintained a calm demeanor, looking Mu Miao up and down as if he were wearing his boyfriend's shirt, genuinely complimenting him, "Hmm, you look great."

Mu Miao bounced happily, eager to see his appearance by the water's edge.

Yu Chen wasn’t surprised that Mu Miao had grown legs; he watched as Mu Miao ran around the courtyard.

Mu Miao went to check the flowers in his garden, then picked up koi from the pond, saying he wanted to show his fish friends the world. The courtyard was filled with Mu Miao's footprints.

It wasn’t until lunchtime that he finally settled down, holding a bowl filled with blood, his head bowed as he took a long time to eat.

Yu Chen sat beside him and poked his face. "Aren't you going to eat? Is it not to your taste?"

Mu Miao shook his head, his mood inexplicably low. He looked up at Yu Chen with misty eyes, his voice choked, "Yu Chen, will you forget me?"

This sudden question was quite perplexing.

Yu Chen didn’t understand why he was asking this. He simply smiled. "My memory is better than yours, silly fish. Even if you forget me, I won’t forget you."
