The focus of the supernatural dungeon is at night. The players, following the system's instructions, wait outside the dance studio early in the morning, watching as students and teachers leave. When night falls, the lights go out one by one, and the noisy campus sinks into a dead silence.
Lin Anqu leans against the wall, a small silver-white robot sitting in his palm, playfully tugging at his fingers.
A beautiful woman, her voice deliberately sweet, tentatively reaches for his hand, saying in a soft tone, "Lin Shen, it's so dark here. I don't know if there's any danger. I'm a little scared."
Before her hand even touches Lin Anqu's clothes, the little robot suddenly stands up. Its metal eyes flash with dangerous red light, and its body crackles with electricity, ready to strike at any moment.
It seems that as soon as the woman gets too close to Lin Anqu, the robot will immediately charge at her.
Lin Anqu's gaze is cold as he glances at the woman. "If you still want these hands, then don't touch me."
The woman stiffens. She smiles flatteringly, calling out in a coaxing tone, "Lin Shen, don't be so fierce."
Lin Anqu, unaffected, walks to a corner, putting some distance between them, making it clear through his actions that he has no interest in her."Hey, Lin Shen, don't you like the type of Zhang Wu?" A player with yellow hair puts his arm around Zhang Wu's shoulder. His rough hand repeatedly strokes her smooth shoulder. "No worries, Lin Shen. If you like any girl, just tell me, I'll make sure to bring her over to you."
Lin Anqu ignores him completely, not sparing them a glance.
His purpose here is to find Mu Miao. He doesn't know if Mu Miao still remembers him in this dungeon, but Mu Miao is a god-level NPC, so even in another dungeon, her memory should remain intact, right?
Lin Anqu holds on to that hope.
The yellow-haired player, oblivious to the situation, persistently tries to find Lin Anqu a woman to have a taste of, with Zhang Wu chiming in and even volunteering herself.
Lin Anqu, already distracted by Mu Miao, feels his mind in turmoil. The two continue to chatter on, saying crude things. He moves his finger slightly, and the little robot surges toward the yellow-haired player, crackling with electricity.
The yellow-haired player jerks violently, his hair standing on end. Zhang Wu screams, hastily stepping back from him.
Other players laugh quietly, covering their mouths.
Suddenly, a player who had been waiting outside the classroom shakily stands up and walks with empty eyes into the dance studio.
The other players call out to him, "Hey, where are you going?"
The player doesn't respond, walking straight into the dance studio.
It is only then that the players realize the once empty classroom is now full of people.
Bathed in moonlight, the girls inside the dance studio wear long white gauze dresses, a thin veil covering their heads. As they raise their arms, their white skirts flutter gracefully in the air, sacred and beautiful.
Their expressions are neither sad nor happy. With light steps, they leap and spin, their legs lifting high as the long skirts form elegant fans. Some pair up, intimately wrapping their arms around each other's waists, their beautiful figures nestled together.
They are like elegant fairies in a quiet forest.
They form a circle, surrounding the players in the center, still dancing.
The player in the middle feels his eyes widen, his pupils filling the entire eye. His expression becomes numb as he, too, dances the eerie dance, standing on tiptoe like the girls.
As the tempo quickens, the player's skin begins to peel off, exposing the bloody tissue underneath. In a few short seconds, a living person turns into a skeleton, with remnants of flesh still clinging to the bones.
His eyeball falls out of its socket, rolling to the feet of a player standing outside the door.
The player is utterly stunned, staring at the eyeball by his feet. His body chills, and his limbs freeze, as his mind screams to escape, but his legs remain rooted to the spot.
Finally, he forces himself to look away, raising his gaze to find the ghostly dancers standing before him.
【Damn, this is such a terrifyingly aesthetic scene! I was actually admiring the dance.】
【Hmm? Did I see that wrong? There seems to be a lady in there always messing up her steps.】
【You didn't see wrong. I've noticed it since the beginning. This lady always bumps into the person next to her, then gets ruthlessly pushed back into position.】
【Hahaha—though the scenes of them killing are bloody, that clumsy but beautiful girl is really funny. She never kept up with the rhythm.】
【Yeah, it's just like when I was sent to a professional team with zero skills, and the teacher's face was exactly the same—totally lifeless.】
