As the sun set on Halloween night, the gym at Karasuno High took on an eerie glow. Paper bats dangled from the ceiling, the faint smell of pumpkin filled the air, and jack-o'-lanterns flickered along the walls. The entire Karasuno volleyball team was gathered with friends, ready for a night filled with laughs, scares, and stories. Kiyoko and Yachi had planned an eventful evening, and joining them were Chiyo Hasegawa, Kiko Suzuki, Airi Nishimura, Ami Ueno, Miku Sakamoto, Kiko Iwasaki, Aiko Asahi, Yuna Mori, and Hikari Fuji.

Hinata bounced with excitement, his eyes wide as he took in the spooky decorations. "This is going to be awesome!" he shouted, grinning at his friends.

Kageyama rolled his eyes, trying to keep his cool. "Don't get too excited, dumbass. It's just Halloween."

Yachi nudged him. "Oh, come on, Kageyama, it's Halloween! Let's have some fun!"

Chapter 1: The Ghost Stories Begin

Everyone gathered in a circle on the gym floor, lights dimmed. Kiyoko started them off, sharing an old local tale about a haunted hill nearby where strange lights were said to appear late at night. As her soft voice echoed in the stillness, everyone felt the hair on their arms rise.

"Don't tell me you believe that," Tsukishima muttered with a smirk, but there was a hint of nervousness in his eyes.

Airi leaned over, giving him a sly grin. "What's wrong, Tsukki? Are you scared?"

He scoffed, though he shifted uncomfortably. "No way."

Next, Chiyo took her turn, telling a story about an abandoned cabin near her grandparents' village. "They say anyone who tries to stay the night there wakes up to scratching sounds on the walls and finds strange handprints on the windows..."

Hinata gulped, inching closer to Kageyama, who grumbled but didn't push him away.

Chapter 2: The Haunted Gym Walk

Nishinoya jumped up, eyes gleaming with excitement. "How about a haunted gym walk? We split into teams and walk around the school in the dark. No lights, just... the sound of the wind and your imagination."

Yuna shivered at the thought. "Are you serious? This school gets creepy at night..."

"Sounds perfect," Tanaka agreed, already moving toward the hallway with a determined look. "Who's brave enough to join?"

They split up, pairing off into teams of two or three. Hinata and Kageyama, reluctantly partnered together, moved through the dim hallway, each jumpy at every creak and groan of the old school building.

In another corner of the school, Kiko Suzuki and Aiko Asahi made their way down a dark stairwell, trying to keep each other calm. Suddenly, they heard a loud clang echoing from somewhere below them. "It's just a noise...right?" Aiko whispered, clutching Kiko's arm.

Tsukishima, paired with Yachi and Hikari, tried to act cool, but even he jumped slightly when Yachi accidentally brushed her arm against his. "Stop freaking out, Yachi," he muttered, his voice wavering slightly.

"Sorry!" Yachi squeaked, blushing.

Chapter 3: Unseen Shadows

Meanwhile, Sugawara, Daichi, and Ami wandered the old classrooms on the second floor. Shadows danced along the walls as the faint light from the streetlights outside filtered in. They passed a cracked mirror, and Daichi froze, catching a glimpse of what looked like a shadowy figure.

"Did you see that?" he asked in a hushed voice.

Sugawara laughed nervously. "It's probably just your imagination, Captain."

Ami, trying to be brave, added, "Or maybe it's the ghost from Kiyoko's story... She did say there were strange things around here."

Daichi forced a grin. "Yeah, well, let's just keep moving."

Chapter 4: Reunited in the Gym

After a nerve-wracking walk through the school, the group reunited in the gym, where Kiyoko and Yachi had prepared snacks and drinks. Hinata was the first to grab a pumpkin-shaped cookie, grinning with relief. "I knew there was nothing to be scared of!" he declared, though everyone remembered how he'd clung to Kageyama in the hallways.

As they settled down, everyone started sharing their experiences. "We heard footsteps, but there was no one there!" Miku said excitedly, still a bit shaken.

"And we saw a shadow on the stairs," Kiko Suzuki added, looking around. "Maybe this school is haunted..."

But just as they began to laugh and relax, the lights went out. The gym plunged into darkness, and a cold gust of wind blew through the room. Everyone froze, holding their breath.

Then, there was a loud, eerie moan.

"Wh-who's doing that?" Nishinoya stammered, glancing around.

In the pitch-black gym, a shadowy figure slowly rose up behind them, draped in what looked like an old, ragged sheet. A loud scream rang out, followed by a burst of laughter as the lights flipped back on. There, standing in the middle of the gym, was Asahi, grinning sheepishly.

"I'm sorry! Kiyoko and Yachi put me up to it!" he admitted, pulling the sheet off his head.

The entire group erupted in laughter, the tension finally broken.

"Best Halloween ever," Tanaka declared, still chuckling as he slapped Asahi on the back. Everyone agreed, feeling both exhausted and exhilarated as they gathered to share snacks and reminisce about the night's scares.

As they laughed and teased each other, the eerie decorations around the gym seemed to fade into the background, leaving just the warmth of friends sharing a Halloween they'd never forget.
