"Jon, we have to talk about the dance tonight." Tiana said as she came back in from a patrol, to see that Jon was carrying Liliana around and that he was bottle-feeding her. "Jon?" She asked.

"Uh, sure. Whatever you need." Jon, he seemed incredibly distracted and then she was staring at him. "I'm sorry, what?" He asked after Liliana was done with the bottle and he was burping her.

"I won't... Jon, you know that I won't be able to go to the dance with you tonight, because I have to be here with Liliana." Tiana explained and then, Jon was putting Liliana down into her crib and she was snatching at a soft toy.

"You can't go? Can't we just ask Dad or-or Mom to watch her?" Jon asked and Tiana's eyes flashed, before she shook her head. "I don't understand why you don't want to go with me."

"Jon, it's not that." Tiana said and he was staring at her. "I want to go to this dance, I can't believe that I'm saying that I can't. But someone has to stay here with the baby--"

"So, you're willing to skip an important high-school event?" Jon asked and Tiana blinked, stunned by the newfound attitude and she scoffed. "You can be back here in this house, in five seconds flat!" He said and she was shaking her head.

"I'm not debating this, Jonathan. If you still want to go, then you can take Candice. But I will not leave my daughter alone. No matter how fast I can run, I will never leave my daughter alone. Ever." Tiana said and she was picking up Liliana, before she sped up to his room and slammed the door behind her.

Tiana sighed, putting Liliana in her crib as she was sitting down on the edge of the bed and she was shaking her head.

Tiana grabbed her cellphone and then she swiftly dialed a familiar number, a number that she already knew that nobody was ever going to be on the other end of, again.

"Hey, this is Cameron here. Real sorry I missed you, leave a message at the beep."

"Hey, Cam." Tiana said as she sighed. "I know that you'll never get this, or listen to it. But I really wanted to hear your voice and the hologram of you that is living sort of, at the Desert Fortress just isn't the same for me." She felt tears prickling at her eyes.

"I could really use your advice right now and god, I wish you were here. You always knew what to do or what to say, even if you had just learned about the conversation a few seconds before... I've got a kid now and her name is Liliana."

"I know what you're thinking. Liliana after my mom? Yeah, that's right. But uh, it isn't just Liliana. Jon and I, we actually agreed on Liliana Cameron Kent. She is beautiful and I hope that one day, you might be able to meet her." Tiana's tears spilled over as she was looking over at Liliana, who watched her with keen eyes.

"Bye." She whispered as she hung up the phone and she was looking over at the little one, who was managing to grab her finger and Tiana let out a choked sort of laugh.

"Oh, hi. Hey there, babygirl." Tiana murmured softly and Liliana babbled a bit as Tiana grinned wider, before she was quickly wiping at her eyes.

Tiana looked up at the quiet knock on the bedroom door and unsurprisingly, Jon stood behind the door and he was looking at her, before he was looking at Liliana, who had only just gotten settled and had fallen asleep.

"I'm not going to the dance tonight, if you can't go." Jon said and Tiana stepped out of the room, before she was closing the door as she grabbed the baby monitor. "So... I, uh... I got Dad to help me with something, so that I didn't have to." He said and she was looking at him, before she swiftly recognized that he was already in the suit.

Tiana walked out to the barn after she changed into her own fancy clothes and she saw that the barn was changed into a sort of dance floor. "How did you pull this off?" She asked softly and Jon was pulling out his cell and he was putting some music on, through the speaker and he was looking at her.

"I... We live in a house with Superman, Lois Lane, and a half-Kryptonian powered twin. I think that the answer, is actually pretty obvious." Jon was joking and she nodded.

"Yeah." Tiana said and then she was blinking, before she was looking over at him. "Jon, do you understand why I was so angry earlier?" She asked and Jon nodded his head. "Okay. Because, I need you to understand where I'm coming from."

"What do you mean?" Jon asked and she sighed, before she was looking up at the sky quickly.

"Jordan and Clark. If either of you are listening to us right now, please stop it." She said and Jon lifted his eyebrows, before she sighed and she turned around to him again.

"This isn't just me as a parent, Jon. This is me as a kid, who was orphaned at a young age and grew up basically on my own." She sighed. "I never expected to have a kid this young, I never expected to have a kid at all actually... But the point is that, I promised myself after I lost my parents, that I would never leave my kids alone. Ever."

"If there was a mission, I would let somebody else handle it. If there was an event at school or at work, I can't make it because I have a kid to attend to. Because the last time that my parents left me, was when they came back home and..." Tiana took a deep breath.

"And, and they-- They got gunned down in front of me with a combination of cold guns and bullets. I was nine years old and until I found my way to Smallville at 13, I was on the streets and scrounging what food that I could. If I was stealing from bins, I would break into shopping malls, into stores, into cafes that were closed... I would eat whatever I could find." Tiana shook her head.

"I cannot put a child through that, Jon. I can't ever let it happen, to our little, baby girl." She said and then, he was walking forward, before he was giving her a tight hug. "I can't." She whispered and then, he was holding her, before he was refusing to let her go.

"You won't leave her alone, Tiana." Jon murmured quietly and she was resting her head on his chest. "There will always be somebody else. My mom, my dad. Jordan and I, even the people in this town. John Henry and Nat..."

"But... Even the mightiest heroes in the world can fall, Jonathan. It might be harder to take them down, but they still can." She whispered and Jon silently leaned forward to rest his forehead against hers, before they were standing there in silence.

"I will make sure that none of us will ever leave that baby alone." Jon murmured and she nodded. "I love you." He whispered.

"Love you too." Tiana whispered hoarsely and she closed her eyes, silently just trying to enjoy the moment.
