"If you guys need help with the Lex Luthor case--" Tiana began.

"Go to school!" Clark said immediately as Tiana was looking at him, before she shook her head and she was disappearing in a flash.

Tiana showed up at school, smelling faintly of ozone as she was opening her locker and Jon was moving his arms around her from behind. "Hey." She murmured quietly and Jon kissed her on the cheek quickly, before they were headed out to their classes.

It was their lunch hour and Tiana was joining Jon, Wellnitz, Jordan, Sarah and a couple of other guys from the football team and Tiana was silently holding Jon's hand in hers. "Are you okay?" Jon murmured quietly and Tiana shrugged. "Ow." Jon murmured as she looked down.

"Sorry." Tiana mumbled and then she was letting go of him, before she tucked both of her hands into her pockets.

"It was nothing. It was just--" George Junior sighed at the question, wondering just how to continue and Tiana was gripping Jon's hand again, feeling her heartbeat hammering against her chest. "I think that whoever saved me and Sarah, is our age. I mean, one of them had the Flash suit on and the other... I mean, he had goggles on, some sort of a weird hoodie."

"Goggles? You didn't say or mention anything before about goggles." Jon was joining in on the laughter, trying to help Jordan keep his cover and Tiana was looking down uneasily, her free hand was shaking in her pocket.

"Probably just to hide their identity." At Jordan's words quickly, Tiana was snapping her head around and she was looking at him with narrowed eyes that were suspicious and irritable. "Maybe Junior's right."

"Have you seen this so-called "Smallville Samaritan" yourself, Jordan?" Tiana asked and Jordan looked at her.

"Well, no. Not personally. But I believe Junior, so..." Jordan shrugged, while Tiana scoffed.

"So you believe Junior, who doesn't actually have any proof to back up his claim?" Tiana asked incredulously, resolving to help Jordan keep his cover intact, even if he was dead-set on ruining it.

"Maybe Junior's right. Maybe there is someone out there our age. If so, the guy's a total badass, right?" Jordan wondered out loud, acting as if he wasn't just talking about himself and Tiana gritted her teeth.

"How do you know it's a guy?" Tiana questioned and Jordan stared at her. "You have no way of knowing. After all, they were wearing goggles and a hoodie, right? I mean, how would you know their gender? I mean, especially just considering that you have never seen this person yourself."

Despite Tiana's best efforts, it was all that anybody could talk about and she walked out of the school glumly after it was over and when her phone beeped with a text from Clark, she disappeared in a flash and she headed into the Gazette.

"Oh, come on!" Lois protested as Tiana skidded to a stop, nearly colliding with a desk until Clark was moving in front of it quickly to slow her down.

"Sorry, sorry." Tiana mumbled.

"Usually I can cover our tracks. Wipe a photo here, discredit a story there. But when Jordan rescued those kids from that accident, he let himself be seen." Sam continued to explain when Tiana was standing up straight again and she sat on top of a nearby desk, quickly digging into her food that she had grabbed on the way.

"And now, George Jr. won't ever, ever shut up about it." Lois muttered irritably.

"Which is why your Daily Planet pal has been calling the DOD, wanting a comment on the record." Sam explained.
